i must say that this is the strangest description of job requirements i’ve seen… “While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. May be required to work extended hours and different shifts.”

walk and talk OR hear…LOL. and you might have to move your arms sometimes. wow. this listing didn’t list “may have to deal with anger or violent situations” like some of the other listings i’ve seen.

i’m stressed out. i’m not entirely sure why, but my dreams are certainly telling me i’m stressed out. i don’t really think it’s because of the surgery, cuz i really feel that it’s no big deal. my biggest concern is finding out the date, and having it be right before cassie visits. i dunno. i just don’t feel like dealing with anything or anyone right now.

i dealt to a kid yesterday who sorta looked trent-y…but only sorta. his face didn’t really look like trent, but it sorta did. he sorta had a trent nose. and he definitely would do things with his lips that were SO trent. and there was a kid who looked like rob sheridan. weird. tonight i got to do overtime. so even when i’m not scheduled until 6am i still get stuck after 4. ah well, i’ll get double time for my extra half hour. money money.

and speaking of money. i am thinking about getting a part time job at hot topic. 40% off for friends and family, and get this…they reimburse you for concert tickets. where the hell was this information last year!! lol. tho i’d probably end up spending my couple buck paycheck there every week, it would be nice to have extra money to put away for a camera, and tattoo, and europe…in no particular order. apparently i won’t have to stay over night in the hospital unless i don’t feel well, so i won’t have to pay the nice $500 co-pay. that’ll help the “other things fund”.

the asbestos book is pretty interesting. for one, i didn’t know asbestos was a mineral. i thought it was man made. and i didn’t know that the health affects of asbestos were known…get this…over 2000 years ago! the ancient civilizations noticed slaves and workers who wove asbestos into fabrics would get sick and die. reading another “environmental disaster” book made me look into more info on the local environmental disaster that we call WNY…read about Bloody Run, which was nice information to know. no book about it unfortunately. trying to get one on love canal off book mooch but nothing is there yet. and i still want to write a book about the manhattan project in niagara falls. some day some day. (yeah right) off to read more
