dreamed that the space shuttle exploded. in the dream, i was sleeping and my radio came on in time to hear them speak about the shuttle launch. the launch went well and the announcers were saying “another successful space shuttle launch” and then you could hear a HUGE explosion, and they were like, oh no! it exploded. oddly i could look out my window and actually see the explosion and debris falling all around. later in the day i get up and debris had landed all over the area, and there was some that landed on a boat in the river, which was on fire. a bunch of people were on the shore watching, and i took some photos with my phone which turned out amazingly high quality. people were sort of in mourning for the shuttle, but then later in the day when i asked people about it, they didn’t know what i was talking about. looked things up on the internet and there was no information. then i realized i must have dreamed that the shuttle exploded. then again, later, i was with my parents and we were talking about the shuttle exploding again, and were real sad about it, and i was like see, i didn’t just dream it.
but i did. ha. the explosion was so real sounding i wonder if something in real life made the noise while i slept and i incorporated it in the dream. odd.
i think i missed fedex today delivering my global mobile phone for the trip. someone knocked real real loud and it was too early for me to get out of bed and find out. ah well.
i also got the bug in me that i NEEDED to get an mp3 player for the trip. i have no reason for an mp3 player and i’ll probably never use it again, but i did buy one on sale at best buy. not an ipod, since i hate having to use itunes. a samsung sansa 1gb player with expandable memory and photo viewing. onsale for 70$. so i gotta go pick it up at the store. i was not about to spend over 100 for something i’ll use only during the trip. i don’t exercise (tho i’m going to start, i’m such a fatty :P) and i have a radio in the car….i just see no other opportunity that will arise for me to use it. ah well that’s ok. also got another 2gb sd card for the cam on sale for $35…bestbuy.com for anyone interested.
