well first day of classes today! yay. not. let’s take a look at the events of recent days.

saturday. moved into the asbestos filled shit hole. eric came to visit, went to the bar with my townhouse mates. had a decent time.
sunday. waited in line with danielle to get books. went to Uni Police (UP) to get parking permit but no, had to wait til monday. did absolutely nothing the entire rest of the day. went to dinner at letchworth dining hall. my dinner cost 7$. they changed the meal plan system around, so that now you can get an option for all you can eat meals. I guess, you get 14 meals a week, and its pay one price, eat whatever you want. That’s all fine, you can only use those in the big dining halls though apparantly. Then you also get a-la carte points, which is like the old meal plan, you pay for what you eat, I guess. And you can get that at the Union or the Hub. Fine. Well I have a freaking 100$ meal plan since I figured I’d be in the house with the kitchen. I don’t have the meal thing on my card, only a-la carte points, I GUESS. Well since I don’t have the meals, my dinner cost me 7$ because they just automatically charge you at the big dining halls a set price no matter what you eat. It’s not pay for what you eat, even though they take it out of your a-la cart money, DONT ASK ME WHY. I have no idea what is going on with that. But we’ve figured out now, we can only eat at the Union, cuz they aren’t ripping us off (as much). then we had a townhouse complex meeting for those of us stuck in Blake. They had no answers. So that prompted a mean email from me to the residence life people. i requested a meeting with the contractor, since all the answers to any questions are “it’s not us, its the contractor”.
monday. got up, showered in the most impossible shower. it was a hand held shower head, fine, but there was no way of attaching it up above you. You have to hold it constantly. then I went to UP to get my parking permit. then i had to walk all the way back to my car to move it cuz i was in a faculty lot. had to park across campus cuz there is no parking near Blake. then had to walk back onto campus to go to class. classes went fine. don’t think they’ll be as bad as i imagined. we’ll see. only 2 lit reviews to write, they are due on the same day as well. 2 overlapping exam days too, which sucks.

but anyway. should be reading and stuff now, but i’m not. i’m hungry.
