City of Night is (was?) a cool event held by the Emerging Leaders of the Arts in Buffalo. I say “was”, only because the first 3 years held at Silo City were really cool, with a lot of nice art installations and a great atmosphere. In 2015 it moved from the silos to the streets in the First Ward, it featured hardly any art, and had more of a feeling of any other weekend “beer bash” festival in Buffalo in the Summer. It lost what was special about it – and it only has little to do with the location. It could be held anywhere, if they kept to the feel of the original few years: more art, music, and performance, less focus on drinking and djs.
Anyway. Photos.
