i did indeed get promoted. i am now a dual-rate floor supervisor. i have training class on tuesday and wednesday. sucks cuz now i can’t go to the sabres game wednesday. blah. as of now it seems i get to keep my days off, which are good. if they change them, i have to beg to keep my thursdays, since that’s when ctrc board meetings are, and…it’s gonna be kinda important for me to go to them soon. i gotta see if i can change my vacation too. maybe hopefully get the nevada test site tour week.

now i get to go shopping tomorrow for business attire, and new shoes. woo.

i went to the outlet mall today to find work clothes. i bought a plain black blazer from dress barn for 27$. i bought 2 really wonderful blazer/coats from olsen europe. they’re longer, and they rock. and they would have been 231$ but i got them for 82$…total. not each. a nice 155$ discount lol. then to rebel against the stuffier clothes i have to wear now, i bought a pair of satin buckle pants from the guess outlet, original price 92$, got them for 43$. bought a pair of shoes for if i wear skirts…i hate shoes. i hate looking at them, i hate shopping for them, and i hate wearing them. they’re going to be so uncomfy. blah. hate shoes. we’re not allowed to wear sandles or clogs, or i’d get something sandle-y. bought a few books too…dark tower book 4, and a book on las vegas. i just need to buy some shirts now, and a few pairs of pants…most likely black, you know haha. gonna do more shopping tomorrow. olsen had these killer vibrant red velvet pants that i wanted so bad, and were 70% off the discount price (like the jackets), but i came back down to reality, and remembered…i’d probably never be able to wear bright red velvet pants. blah. they had a jacket to go with it to, but i don’t think the casino would like me wearing a bright red velvet suit to work.
