tony got contacts. he looks so cute haha. older, finally. he said he needs to come over some night this week, dunno why.
we get to dress up for halloween at work. so now i need to go see if i can make my macphisto outfit in one weeks time…ug. could have given us a little more notice. we can’t wear masks or tons of face paint that makes us unrecognizable. not a problem. i’ll probably go thrifting tomorrow, see if there’s a cheap suit that fits me that i can spray paint and glitterize…and party city..might just settle for some cheap ass costume. i never did find myself a flapper dress on ebay, blah.
i forgot daylight savings is tomorrow…i had asked russell if i could go with whoever when they change the clocks in the tower, but i think…other things…distracted him. that’s ok. but it sucks…i get to work 9 hours tomorrow, cuz of the time change. swing shift only had to work 7 in the spring, and grave had to work 9…now it switches and we get screwed this time. i think i’ll sign the list to go home early, so i don’t have to work 9 hours hahah. we had a kickass tip rate last week, but this week is gonna go down again. blah.
sunday morning when i left work, i told a woman i was going to chicago in 7 hours, she’s like where? darien lake? i’m like um….like…illinois. she thought i was talking about seeing the band LOL
screw macphisto, i have the best costume ever!
went out to party city to take a look at the prefab costumes. i tried on some generic vampiress costume. turned out it was a teen costume, but supposed to fit up to size 9. it was this short black skirt with black netting around it and long in the back, and this rocking red velvet laceup shirt. except it didn’t fit. um..hello..i have no boobs and there was no way this shirt was gonna fit me. it was so kickass tho, i’d totally wear it for concerts and stuff. ug.
from there, went to the mall. when did parents start taking their kids trick or treating in the mall? how sad. the mall was full of kids dressed up in costumes going from store to store trick or treating. never, EVER, ever will i take my kids trick or treating at a mall. went to spencers hoping they’d have that costume in the adult size, nope, just teen still. i almost bought a white vinyl nurses dress at hot topic, but it was a bit too short, esp if i was on roulette for the night…bending over in an ass skirt, not a good idea. might get me more tips tho.
but i have THE best costume now. it’s a secret. but it’s great, and hilarious, and just fantastic. and it cost my mom all of 5 dollars at goodwill haha.
