i had the most giant unexpected nate song flashback yesterday, to the doors “riders on the storm”. i had totally forgotten there was anything related between nate and that song. it was like a punch in the face. i mean, it’s a good memory not a bad one. but it just hit me and made me laugh. other songs i have nate memories to, like eminem “lose yourself” i sorta have to think about, i remember we both really liked the song and it was on alot before he left. but this one…haha just suddenly appeared. not telling what the memory was 🙂

i’m reading the new anne rice book “blackwood farm”. i started it a few weeks ago after i finished “blood and gold” (which i liked a whole lot). it started off real fast and sorta interesting, but then it slowed down…alot…like 10 chapters of slow boringness. the story is being told to Lestat by this vampire Quinn. Quinn sought out lestat to get his help to rid him of his spirit companion he’s had since he was a child. so he has to tell lestat the entire story of his family, and then his life story…which is really boring. only now, around chapter 12 did it get interesting. i read 4 chapters last night/today when it took me a week just to get through chapter 9 lol. there is some strange things in it…like…Quinn lost his virginity to a ghost named Rebecca…had sex with Rebecca Ghost again…then his spirit companion Goblin gave him a handjob in the shower. and in the last chapter i read he actually had sex with a real person lol.

and now for something completely different. i had my mri today. got up bright and early at 8 to go to the mri place. my appt was at 930, i got there at 9, sat there for over an hour before getting called. sat in this other chair for 15 more minutes, to actually be in the machine for 20. i hate that. i tried to steal a look at my brain on the computer when i left, but i could only see my medula oblongata 🙂 it was very white. can’t remember if it’s supposed to be white or not. but i don’t have a tumor there, cuz my balance and motor cooordiation is just fine. i have a follow up appt with the dr in may, unless i have a tumor, and then i’d assume she’d call for an appt after she gets the mri report. i hope i can get her to let me look at the film when i go. i came home and went back to sleep til 4. it was half sleep so now i got a bad headache. i took my barbituate drugs and they’re not working. damn my body for drugs not working on it.

i work at 8 tonight. last night was beyond boring. i’m glad i have shitty mon and tues off usually, cuz they are so dead.

oh…varada got traded to ottawa. ha that’s super. as one article put it, he went from a bankrupt team at the bottom of the league to a bankrupt team at the top haha. he’ll actually get to play in the playoffs this year, and have a chance at winning the cup (of course ottawa seems to choke in the playoffs every year…). yay for him. of course, that leaves virtually no chance of him appearing in the casino…lol.
