blah. work was whatever, but around midnight i started to feel sick. it sorta felt like i had a lump growing in my stomach, and i was going to give birth to a gremlin or something haha. then it moved to right under my sternum. i tried to count tokes last night, but i just felt so awful i left before they were finished. i felt bad but i really needed to go to the store to get something. i figured it was the ulcer or something, so i just got mylanta and went home. i almost slept for a bit before it moved more and got really bad. it felt like something was traveling through my stomach and intestines. i think i threw up a bunch of bile. there was nothing in my stomach to throw up. managed to sleep through the pain and i didn’t wake up til 5. so i called in. it feels ok right now but i can forsee it getting bad again. dunno what it is. blah.

the ottawa show was officially cancelled so i got refunded for that ticket. i’m not too distraught, tho it would have been cool to see a new city. maybe if i’m feeling up to it later i’ll talk about the conversation adr2 and i had on the way home from watertown the day it was cancelled.

i survived the downtime of my 10-6 shift last night with thoughts of the show. i did about 20 minutes of work an hour, so i had alot of time to sit and think and realize that it was probably the first time ever i sat at work smiling. i’d laugh for no reason and remind myself that people would start to stare haha. this week was just so much fun, and so amazing, and the time with all my friends was great. the depression will hit soon 🙂

my mom wanted to see the tambourine haha. she told my dad and neighbor that i got it from my idol hahahah

jeordie fucking white better be at this casino

so after discovering nin.com being updated from buffalo with a photo of the falls, amira and i took off to investigate. adr2 was on her way so we headed to my casino looking for the busses. no luck, and we figured rob took the pic of the falls from the canadian side so we went over there. checked around the nice hotels and then i had the brilliant thought that they were probably at a strip club. so we went by all the ones i know of, with no luck. headed back home to meet up with adr2.

she was pulled over on grand island. great. turns out she bought the cop coffee and didn’t get a ticket. so she got to my house and we decided to head downtown to check the hyatt and adam’s mark. and wouldn’t you know adr2 gets pulled over AGAIN near my house when we left…this time she got a ticket. it was destiny i guess.

we resumed the trip downtown, drove around and somehow came up with the idea to call the front desk of the casino hotel and ask for jeordie white. we thought it was a less known name then asking for trent reznor, who they might have heard of. so 1. i cant remember the phone number of the casino 2. adr2 calls information to get it and totally chokes, “seneca niagara falls casino and hotel resort” LOL 3. amira calls and adr2 and i are trying to stiffle our complete hysterical laughter 4. amira chokes on the name and starts coughing to disguise her laughter as she spells his name for the woman on the phone 5. the woman actually connects her to a room LOL

so we decide to go back to the falls and look again. along the way i mention the only girl i know at the hotel desk, marni, who i know knows nine inch nails. and it turns out marni was the one amira spoke to on the phone LOL.

we go to the casino anyway and ask marni if she remembered the call for jeordie. and she did but thought it was george. so we called someone named george white hahaha small world that there would be a person of similar name there.

and it turns out they’re at the hyatt in rochester hahahhaa

omg it was so much fun. we are so lame.

adr2 and i took a nice 3 hour drive to Watertown today, cuz that’s where we were when we found out the show in Ottawa was cancelled because Trent is still sick. get better please.

so on the way home i thought we could stop in upper jay to go to the land of makebelieve, cuz i thought it was on the lake side of the Adirondaks, but I was wrong. it’s near lake placid, so that was still a ways away from where we were. back home it was. stopped at cargil though. that place is very creepy in the wind – too many scary falling apart noises. but still beautiful.

trent has the weekend to get better. 🙂

ok that thing i said about being sick by friday so i could go to ottawa…i was just kidding. so any time my body wants to feel better would be great. and i look like i got beat up. my lip is SUPER swollen and i don’t know why. i think i gotta go get some benedryl or something. and go back to bed.

and holy fucking shit u2 played “love is blindness” last night in argentina. h.f.s why do the overseas countries get the good setlists? my god. a stellar setlist indeed.

i wrote the rest of this last night but i guess i forgot to post it…

when is scott stapp gonna get a clue? arrested at LAX on his honeymoon, getting in a fight with 311, being totally wasted on stage, and now a sex tape…and you still think you’re god?!?! and you still totally and completely suck!

in other news, my knee gave out at work yesterday. it was really weird.

i watched one tree hill on WB tonight cuz it was about a school shooter. and here i sit crying my freaking eyes out, then at the end this principal figure shoots this other father guy who is kneeling next to the dead body of the shooter. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?! i’ve never seen the show before, so i have no idea what that was about. (ok i looked it up…someone i think was Dan shot someone i think was Keith. i still don’t know why. oh they are apparently brothers wtf?)

got my ticket for ottawa on friday. GA at that, oddly…i don’t know why this show was so expensive though – even with the shitass exchange rate. whatever. i think it’s just me and adr2 and whoever else we know who will already be there. amira is sick so she’s skipping this one.

i don’t really have anything to say. going to toronto thursday with kate to meet mrs edge. tony and pat want to play mahjong thurs night, and dave said something about diablo but dunno. leaving in the morning on friday so i don’t want to do anything too late. it’d be nice to get more than 4 hrs of sleep before any of these shows haha.

printer still won’t print black. i already wasted one entire black ink cartridge cleaning the heads, i don’t really feel like wasting all of this new one too for it to still not work. suggestions? printing everything in blue – which is sometimes a big pain in the ass…

a seinfeld episode once was about muffin tops…and i think it was elaine opening a muffin top store, where you just get the “good” part of the muffin. they were left with all these muffin stumps that even the homeless didn’t want. and i just want to say, i rather like the muffin stumps. i’d eat just muffin stumps with the exception of dunkin’s pumpkin muffins, i still want the top of that one haha.

it’s gonna be a whopping 50 degrees in cinci tomorrow!!! yay heatwave!

wouldn’t sticking a flaming marshmallow into a glass of Bailey’s cause the Bailey’s to start on fire, and not put out the marshmallow? that commercial doesn’t make sense.

so i went back to the mall with kate to buy the dress i tried on at hot topic yesterday. i like it. i think i might wear it to cinci on saturday, cuz it’s supposed to be in the 40s. that’s nuts, deciding to wear a dress cuz it’s gonna be a warm 40 degree day! LOL i gotta decide if i can wear my high heel mary janes at a show though…i think i need tights, i’ll stay warmer that way i think.

got a dvd of the wilkes-barre show, but i didn’t take the time to burn it nicely because it seemed hardly watchable. seems to have been recorded from the floor. some good shots, but most of what i saw when i skipped around was really shaky and bad. taking a look at the philly show dvd now…i think it’s the same taper as the philly club shows that were amazing. here’s hoping. also got the toledo show, it was up right away. haven’t listened yet but it’s being hyped as one of the best sounding recordings from the whole tour.

watched hedwig and the angry inch again tonight. so great. it had been awhile. need to watch fight club again soon. then i’ll need an FC icon like i now need a hedwig icon haha. i have no more open icon slots!
