so after discovering nin.com being updated from buffalo with a photo of the falls, amira and i took off to investigate. adr2 was on her way so we headed to my casino looking for the busses. no luck, and we figured rob took the pic of the falls from the canadian side so we went over there. checked around the nice hotels and then i had the brilliant thought that they were probably at a strip club. so we went by all the ones i know of, with no luck. headed back home to meet up with adr2.
she was pulled over on grand island. great. turns out she bought the cop coffee and didn’t get a ticket. so she got to my house and we decided to head downtown to check the hyatt and adam’s mark. and wouldn’t you know adr2 gets pulled over AGAIN near my house when we left…this time she got a ticket. it was destiny i guess.
we resumed the trip downtown, drove around and somehow came up with the idea to call the front desk of the casino hotel and ask for jeordie white. we thought it was a less known name then asking for trent reznor, who they might have heard of. so 1. i cant remember the phone number of the casino 2. adr2 calls information to get it and totally chokes, “seneca niagara falls casino and hotel resort” LOL 3. amira calls and adr2 and i are trying to stiffle our complete hysterical laughter 4. amira chokes on the name and starts coughing to disguise her laughter as she spells his name for the woman on the phone 5. the woman actually connects her to a room LOL
so we decide to go back to the falls and look again. along the way i mention the only girl i know at the hotel desk, marni, who i know knows nine inch nails. and it turns out marni was the one amira spoke to on the phone LOL.
we go to the casino anyway and ask marni if she remembered the call for jeordie. and she did but thought it was george. so we called someone named george white hahaha small world that there would be a person of similar name there.
and it turns out they’re at the hyatt in rochester hahahhaa
