see the time down there…7am. why am i up at 7 when i went out last night and went to bed around 1? BECAUSE THERE WAS AN EARTHQUAKE AND IT WOKE ME UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO NOT KIDDING! about 6:55 i got woken up my bed was shaking, my closet doors were hitting eachother, and these stars that are hanging from my bookcase and ceiling were swinging!! so i jumped out of bed and found my parents. dad’s in the shower, mom’s downstairs neither felt it. LOL so my mom is like maybe you were just moving, or having a dream. i’m like NO MY CLOSET DOORS WERE MOVING AND HITTING EACHOTHER! she’s like maybe you were poultergeisting in your sleep, and i’m like… ok well that’d still be pretty damn cool. But then the radio announced they were getting flooded with calls about ppl feeling an earthquake SO I DIDNT MAKE IT UP!! hahaha. HOW COOL!!! i’ve wanted to be in an earthquake for the longest time!!! YAAAY!!!!!!!

but now i need a nap lol

so last night went to see murder by numbers with joe and danielle. it was really good. but i like that homicide forensics mystery stuff. michael pitt (tommy gnosis) is great at playing strange characters. sometimes he’s really hot. it’s weird. if i met him i’d just want to give him a giant hug or something lol. but yeah. it was pretty good i thought. then we went to chilis to watch the end of the vancouver/detroit game, and let me just say GO VANCOUVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5-2 win, they lead the series 2-0 now ROFLMAO that’s so great. so hung out there for a while with jon, his girlfriend laura and then his cousin eric and his girlfriend. dunno what’s going on today, eventually going to joe’s and then bowling. but need a nap, since i’m awake and it’s 7am. hahah

 

so i went back to bed, slept til 11:30. dad informed me the quake was centered in Platsburg, which is up north east ny by lake champlain (aka far away from us) and that it registered a 5….carolyn found some articles, don’t feel like re-linking them from here so just go to her blog if you wanna read them. apparently ppl discovered a bit fault line through lake ontario…there’s been a known fault line (or lines, i dunno) through Buffalo, WNY region. this is about our 4th lil earthquake here since i’ve been alive. of course never felt any of the others. 2 i was in school for, one i was sitting in the family room with my parents. my mom started yelling at me to stop shaking the chair, so of course i yell back I WASN’T!!!!! then we see some of the nicknacks moving. but i barely felt anything. this time was much better hehe. one of the ones that happened when i was in school was epicentered in an intersection on delaware HAHA i just find that kinda funny.

and so everyone know’s it’s all Fishy’s fault. she dreamed there was an earthquake last night, and that a buffalo was running around the whole time. hehe

 

digital cable is great. and it’s a tommy gnosis weekend. michael pitt is in joey ramone’s video. lol. i’m like OMG IT’S TOMMY GNOSIS! so i had to watch it, ended up missing half of U2’s “pride” video on vh1 classic, but that’s ok…cuz it was tommy gnosis. that panther tattoo on his hip is real, and not just a hedwig thing. and i forgot to mention this before, but i think he had a major growth spurt between Hedwig and Murder by Numbers cuz he was WAY tall in it. but yeah. vh1 classic rocks. was watching part of the 80s show, and after pride they played duran duran’s “planet earth”..yay boys in makeup!! it was so cheesy. and omg i saw THE cheesiest video ever, except perhaps for the “safety dance” video….ABC’s “look of love” omg it was so great hahaha.

but anyway, lots of shit’s happened. the dean sent out an email to everyone that this kid at school died this morning after an “altercation” outside of Erie Hall…he was taken to the hospital and stuff, and died…cause of death unknown. but he was from Tonawanda too, so it’s kinda weird. i didn’t know him but joe and them might, since they live in Tonawanda. (they’ve never mentioned knowing anyone else at geneseo though). i wonder what happened…what the altercation was. i’m sure we’ll find out soon, or at least the rumors will be in full force when we get back.

now there is nothing on tv and mtv2 and vh1 classic were annoying me with the crap they kept playing. so i guess i’ll go try to read my chapter that i have to write my paper on, since it wasn’t going well with the tv on haha

wow the world is a sad place when jerry springer is the most entertaining thing on television. i turned it on while i was eating lunch, and omg i haven’t laughed that hard in a while. it was so hilarious. i caught 2 stories. the first was these 2 fat chicks who claimed they had found the messiah, his name was seth. hahah. so that’s funny to begin with. so the 2 girls are all holding hands and groping each other, and jerry is asking him how one becomes a messiah. so they said he treats women the way they should be, and they’re totally devoted to him etc. so of course jerry asks how they are treated and they reply, they’re his sex slaves. ROFLMAO. so then they bring out seth, who is this long haired greasy looking guy with a goatie that is grown out into 2 braids. and he’s fat too. so cuz he controls them, he made them start making out with eachother, and do something (dunno what cuz it got censored), and then made the one girl go rub her breasts on Steve (one of the security guys). of course then, he tells them they’re worthless and he has something better and doesn’t need them anymore…and of course it’s a man ROFL. then the 2nd story was this beefy chick, chubby, skimpy outfit, of course. so she’s on the show because her fantasy is to have her boyfriend wear her bra and underwear, and if he doesn’t she’s going to break up with him. so he comes out and he’s this skinny little dweeb, and he’s like HELL NO. so she strips on stage, takes her dress off, gets completely naked. so she’s standing on stage all censored and gives her bra and underwear to him to go put on. ROFLMAO he does come back with it on and she like tackles him and its all censored. hahahaha. it was so great. how sad.

i really wanna see the episode my aunt was on. my aunt was IN THE AUDIENCE not a friggen guest LOL. but she was one of those super interactive audience members, and at the end went on stage and kissed one of the guests ROFL. but she didn’t tell me when it was on tv, and i dont even think she has a tape of it. blah.

so now i gotta pack up some more stuff that i can take home. like kitchen stuff. cuz we don’t need 3 pasta strainers, really we don’t. but that is one thing everyone brought lol.

well technically, however unlikely, i could still get a 4.0 this semester. there is an extra credit opportunity in adolescent worth 5 points. so getting that, and if i got 100% on the final, i’d get an A and a 4.0. BUT…i can’t do the extra credit BECAUSE I’M THE ONE RUNNING THE STUDY!!!!!!!!!! so i talked to the proff, and she said if i outline the review sheet for the final and turn it in i can get the 5 points. but i’m sure i won’t get 100 on the final, so i still won’t be getting a 4.0. blah.

well the AC issue. swealtered last night with the windows open. which meant waking up at every sound outside…at 3:30 am when a sorority pledge class had to jog by…and at 8:15ish when the first set of kids went off to class….and 9:15 ish when the next set went by etc. great. so a guy came to look at the AC around 11. 10 min before he came, it turned back on and started to work. however, i don’t exactly find it to be cool in here, it’s still about 75 according to my thermometer in my room. anyway, the AC guy was telling us about how retarded the engineers were when they built the heating system etc (already knew that, who doesn’t know heat rises so furnace can’t be on the 3rd floor). apparently in order for the heat to kick on, it must be lower than 58 degrees outside. for the AC to turn on it must be warmer than 72 degrees outside. so between 58-72 you just get the blower recirculating the house’s air. well that’s fucking retarded. i understand that at a state school they’re trying to conserve energy and stuff. but there is no way it was cold enough for the AC to turn off. it was 80 in here!!! that warrents the need for AC!! it should have nothing to do with outside temp. if we’re hot, we should be able to press ON and have the AC go on. if we get cold, because maybe it cooled down outside, we can turn it OFF! a switch! that’s all i want. arg. it’s frustrating. thankfully we only have a month left here.

anyway. going to do my writeups for my newsletter today i think. maybe some other work since i did nothing yesterday. started reading adolescent, but had to go fill out the survey, then danielle came in to watch tv which led to the all night tv watching that went on yesterday. i’m tired.

and oh yeah. this is way too early for me to really be saying this but…. HAHA REDWINGS!!!!!! go vancouver!!!!

and one last thing. i really hate the smell of humans in hot weather. not necessarily BO cuz in the morning most ppl have showered and smell fine. but there is a distinct smell that is different in the summer than in the winter…like everyone’s perfume and cologne is alot stronger, cuz the sweat resets it off…this is a revolting topic so i’m gonna stop.

AC broken again. called maintence. it was about 74 when i got home from class at 12:30, it’s now 80 again. no cold air coming out of the vents at all. they told me the guy who came this morning left already, so dunno when someone is gonna come by. great.

ok so they just called (15 min later ish) to talk to me and ask me the temp inside. it’s 78/80 in my bedroom. she says, well the AC won’t go on until it’s over 78. i’m like no that’s NOT what he told us this morning. he told us the AC would go on if it was over 72 OUTSIDE. she’s like well he just told me 78 inside. i’m like no, because the AC worked fine the whole rest of the week until yesterday, and it was about 70/72 in here until last night when it stopped working. so she was like, hold on. and then came back on and said they were going to send someone over.

ok i’m not RETARDED. you can’t fucking tell me that the AC doesn’t go on until it’s an oven inside your house. if i had the money i’d hire my own goddamn repair man. someone who actually knows how to work heating and cooling systems. assholes. all of them.

ok maintence called back again. i think it was the guy who came this morning. this is the story. because the downstairs thermostat reads 74/75 the AC isn’t going on because it’s set to keep it 74 in the house. the school determines the temperature setting and gives us 2 degrees of latitude to change it. so i asked him why the hell was the AC fine the whole rest of the week, it was cool in here, and we had no problems. he said we were all supposed to be notified of this, but apparently we weren’t, that the school changed the temperature setting to 76 instead of 72 because everyone had doors and windows open, which was making the ACs run constantly. so our 2 degree latitude is lowest possible temp of 74. which i guess would be fine except THE HEATING SYSTEM DOESN’T WORK RIGHT AND UPSTAIRS IT’S SWEALTERING. so i asked him if they were going to change it back because it was unbareable. he said he complained to his supervisor about it, and took my name to file a complaint on my behalf. because really. i am dying here. i’m on the verge of tears i’m so hot. ok not that much, but i’m sweating to death. yeah and we have AC.

everything would be solved if they gave us an on off switch. people who wanted to open windows could turn it off, ppl who wanted AC could turn it on. or it would be nice of the school to tell us how these things work so we wouldn’t have to be constantly calling emergency maintence to fix shit. and maybe everyone with their windows open would close their windows so that the AC would go on, since the AC is never going to go on if they don’t.

i’m going to go take a hair dryer to the thermostat.

ROFLOMG maintence just called me back and was like “do you have a hair dryer on your thermostat” ROFLMAO OMG!!!!!! so i go, yeah i had to do something it’s so hot. he’s like i can see that. (i guess they have a central reading thing for the temps). so now he tells me they’ve decided to switch it back. so that the set temp is 72, and we can change it to 68 or 78. so i said thanks, and that it might be a good idea if we were notified of how this stuff works, since everyone in our building has their windows open thinking the AC is just flat out broken. if they knew how it worked, they’d shut the windows and all would be good. he’s like, well i have nothing to do with that. i have to contact the supervisor who is supposed to contact reslife with the info they’re supposed to pass on to you. so yeah we won’t get notified. but nice to know they’ve decided to change it back.

i’m tired of talking to maintence so let’s hope they don’t need to call back. haha the call about the hairdryer really threw me for a loop ROFL

i wish i spent as much time on my real school work as i’ve spent on my reviews for my comp art news letter. i’ve only done one review so far (NIN live disc/dvd) and it’s over a page long single spaced. and i’ve edited it like 5 times. lol. i wanted to do all 3 or 4 of the reviews today, but got distracted by amanda, and helping her come up with themed food for an 80s restaurant. haha.

going to see the musical theatre club performance thing tonight. it starts at 8, but we’re going at 7 because it’s always super popular. tonight is the first night, so there is actually a possibility we won’t get in…parents, family etc get first dibs on seats before doors open to the public. since it’s free, and it’s always so good, lots of people show up. tonight is the only night we can go tho, since we’re going home tomorrow so….hoping we get in. if we don’t get in though, i need to do some reading and maybe the rest of my reviews. you know, most people are going to just copy shit from the web for their news letter (since we are allowed to)….i’m probably the only one who’s going to do it all on my own. lol

 

going to see the musical theatre club always makes me wish i had talent. it was really good, once again. they did some fun songs, and they did “ease on down the road” from the wiz lol. and i must say i really love “Aquarius/let the sunshine” from Hair. it was a good time. hotter than hell tho, so it’s nice to be back in the AC 🙂

i have a massive headache and i’m starving. and i feel all gross… that whole hating how humans smell thing was in full effect at the show…extremely warm enclosed space. i dunno why i’m noticing it so much lately lol.

 

HFS!! just got a phone call from Kevin, in the UK, who i haven’t talked to in years (cuz he never answers email)…i was like how the hell did you get my number?…yeah duh, the geneseo site lists them lol. it was super great to talk to him again, caught up on shit, talked about the old friends, and the good old days hehe.

comp art annoys me. it’s 4 billion degrees in there. and just annoys me. not getting into it now. it’s the same old shit i always complain about. so i left at quarter after 12 lol. but we have a new project – a news letter. 4 pages, 4 pictures etc…so since i needed some reason to incorporate the greatest trent picture on earth into my news letter i’ve decided i’m going to do a (very biased) review news letter…gonna review “and all that could have been”, queen of the damned so i can use pictures of lestat 🙂 and um… probably u2…and dunno who else. we’ll see.

just watched the new korn video for “here to stay”…it’s interesting. it’s someone watching tv…there’s clips of car chases, and animals attacking, and weird shit. and classic footage of the challenger explosion and those tapes made during the 50s of effects of nuclear explosions on forrests and houses etc. and at the end it’s a kid watching tv. anyone know if it’s jon’s son? could be, i figure. anyway. it’s intersting. not super…but interesting. probably better on tv and not an mpeg.

so now i have time to study for clinical. did a really crappy job. and since it’s only on 3 chapters we have like NO notes…and they don’t make sense. so i should have studied more from the book… well i DID read the chapters twice…should be enough but dunno. we’ll see in an hour.

 

test took half hour, as usual. got 2 wrong on the multiple choice. one was an question i thought i knew, the other was a question marked question, where the answer was my gut reaction but i picked something different. identifies were rough, but i think i managed to bullshit enough to get full credit. 1 i knew really well (the barnum effect), 2 i new fairly well, the last 3 i heard of the term and could make stuff up for. lol. i’ll get an A again.

saw a kid in some kind of military uniform just now. didn’t even see his face and it was like “wow you’re hot”…and hot as in sweating probably too, since he was in full dressup type uniform. wtb is it about uniforms….it reminds me of this kid i was sorta friends with in high school. His name was Tex (ok his name was Jeremy, i think, but everyone called him Tex for some reason… or Texas). he graduated high school in december and joined the marines. now he seemed to be THE WORST candidate for the marines – he was insubordinate, he talked back, was a behavior problem etc…. doesn’t really jive with the marines. but he did it, got through basic and all that. he came back in may to go to the senior prom, in his full dress up marines uniform. omg he was so hot. and he was not exactly a hot boy normally lol. he reminds me of Ryan from orgy. somewhat in appearance (mainly their manical smile), but more in personality…or what i imagine ryan’s personality to be like from what i’ve heard.

so now it’s way too hot outside. like carolyn said, if it’s this hot now what’s it gonna be like in july and august?! i was going to go do work outside except for a few things: 1. no radio, need music. if only to annoy ppl walking by 🙂 2. too hot, don’t own shorts, wearing black, attracks heat 3. way too fucking windy. everything would blow away. 4. need to use my comp if i’m gonna type up my reviews for my news letter.

this dislike of heat really hinders my desire to move out of the northeast…like to new orleans. won’t be able to take it. wow i really need some summer clothes, but not shorts. lol. joe said him and the guys are opening his pool this summer. which means i’m expected to go swimming. i haven’t been swimming since 10th grade. i bought a bathingsuit freshman year for when we went to the beach in long island, but i wore clothes the entire time (cuz it was kinda cloudy and not that warm, and i still got sun burned badly), but that was more or less the last time i wore it. blah.

MTV Icon aerosmith – well….Steven does sing “dream on”…they showed some old school clips of him singing it. then train performed it, did a very nice job. and i hate train. that’s the extent of my commentary because i don’t feel like continuing to update this everytime i think of something. maybe when the show is over i’ll make some more comments.

had to go fill out this survey for the school about “quality of life”…we were leaving and the RD of saratoga asked us if our AC was working. and we were like yeah thank god. she was like, oh because some of the units over there don’t have AC. well OF COURSE NOW OUR AC ISNT WORKING!!!!!!! it went up 10 degrees in here since this afternoon (it’s now 80). we flipped the circuit breakers off and back on, so we’ll see if anything happens. it’s been 15 min, no luck yet.

ok yeah now it’s too hot outside. yesterday was nice, today – too hot. good thing we have AC. it’s nice and cool in here. i sorta wish we had a back yard, or a porch or something. because i’d like to go outside and study, but no way can i study with people walking by constantly. too many distractions. but if we had a back yard that wasn’t a parkinglot then i could. oh well.

but anyway. yeah. test in clinical tomorrow…3 chapters. shouldn’t be too bad. not like the others have been bad, but with only 3 chapters dunno what the short answers will be. not worried about it though because he seems to like me and give me full credit even if i’m not saying enough. bullshitting is one of my strengths.

so in adolescent today we all had to take the Bem sex role inventory to see if we were more masculine, feminine or androgynous. it was kinda funny because i ended up being androgynous (no surprise there) and there were items on both sides where i had 1’s (never true about me)…like on the masculine side was like aggressive, and stuff like that, that i said 1 to cuz yeah i’m not aggressive. ppl can easily beat me up lol. but then on the feminine side was “never uses harsh language” ROFLMAO yeah right, and “loves children” haha yeah that’s a 1.

dude martin gore is so great. my fav depeche mode songs turn out to be ones that he sings…then i’m listening to the cd i just got, and i’m like yeah this song is cool…”one caress” and i’m pretty damn sure he’s singing it. lol figures.

 

something is wrong with my computer. just froze for about the 9th time since friday. 3 times were trying to open eric’s comments, once opening an mpeg, the rest of the times were just random. and 3 times i’ve restarted/started up just to have explorer crash before windows is loaded, prompting me to have to restart/turn off-back on. and the most annoying thing about the freezing is that scandisk runs on startup and takes forever. goes real fast til 20% then takes 3 minutes to do 20-40%, then jumps to 80%, takes another 2 minutes to get to 90% then finishes and scans drive D in a blink of an eye. and Khruschev was doing so good too. he hadn’t given me problems in months. damn Khruschev. and he’s getting louder and louder by the day. why am i the only person i know who’s had continuous fan problems. i’ve replaced the fan in my box 3 times now. and this box i have now is a new one that i got after last years upgrade. other people leave their comps on longer than i do and no one else but me has to replace the fan. arg.

in regards to studying…not going well AT all. been studying since 1:30, got through 1 chapter. osbournes are on tonight so i’d like to have a handle on my shit by 10:30. not gonna happen. oh well.

 

mmm yeah putting in the live nin disc instead of pretty hate machine bad idea…cannot concentrate. at all. really really bad idea.

when i don’t know the words to a song, i make them up. i think that’s quite normal. well since i didn’t (and still really don’t for sure) know the lyrics to “down in it” i made them up. and i always thought it was weird that trent would be staring at a duck. “just then a tiny little duck caught my eye it was just about too small to see, but i watched it way too long, it was pulling me down”…so when i actually looked at the lyrics and saw that it was DOT and not DUCK it made alot more sense (tho not total sense). haha.

so did the class thing. spent most of computer art doing nothing, like usual. we had to do our cd cover, and then a back. but he didn’t say if we needed to put anything specific on the back. apparently we can continue to put whatever we want on there. so i’m doing lestat. lol. and i’m on the front. my font didn’t print out the right color, but don’t care. i meant to do that…yeah, that’s it.

after clinical did laundry. hate our laundry facility. the washer are too small but the dryers are humongous. and they don’t have normal controls. so i put my clothes in the dryer and put it on delicate for 60 minutes. 60 minutes later it had 20 minutes left, and it was very hot inside the dryer…they should just have “hot” “medium” “cold”…cuz then I’d know what setting to put the damn thing on so that i don’t ruin all my clothes. arg. then i sat outside for a while trying to read poli sci, but ended up doing more talking with danielle and people watching than anything else. we had an…interesting conversation. which is an odd coincidence considering the song i had in my head this morning when i woke up….so that leads us to the very appropriate lyric of the day:

geneseo is retarded. they have a whole section of the website for commencement, but no where on it anywhere does it say what time. it says may 25th…it has day and time of the rehearsal, and the champagne whatever, etc. but no time for actual graduation ceremony. smart. and “This year’s Commencement speaker will be Mr. Mark Gearan, President of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and former director of the Peace Corps.” mmm yeah exciting. why can’t we get someone good… like bono. harvard had bono.

got my depeche mode cd today (songs of faith and devotion)…yippe. but omg the songs that are on that and on singles are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! like totally different. especially “in your room”…seriously. they had to have been totally re-recorded for singles or something. very strange, but very cool. cuz then that means i don’t have the same songs on both cds. “condemnation” is still less than tolerable.

mtv annoys me. stayed up til 2 last night watching the most controversial videos countdown. i could argue some of their picks – like britney spears “hit me baby one more time”….just cuz she pranced around in a school uniform doesn’t make it controversial. she had more clothes on there than in her other videos. and of course they included the staple controversial videos “black or white” (still don’t get it), “justify my love”, and “closer”. #1 (to ruin the surprise lol) was prodigy’s “smack my bitch up”. after seeing it in what i think was it’s entirety on the show, i think it was brilliant. i can understand the controversy, and the shockingness of it..but it really was absolutely brilliant. and madonna has some of the most beautiful videos ever made. but i digress.

mtv annoys me because they hire complete retards. the show was hosted by suchin pak and iann robinson (i think that’s his last name). i kinda have to automatically like iann because he’s the only mtv employee who likes rock music. but i don’t really like him. and suchin. i used to not have a problem with her. she did her little mtv news breifs, and all that, and was fine. but no, she is as dumb as shit. i hate her. assuming that the actual video commentary during the show was their own, and not as scripted as the intros/outros of the show, she is a retard. they were talking about pearl jam’s “jeremy” video, and the controversy around that. she starts talking about how it was controversial because it was based on events that happened right before school violence exploded into a nationwide epidemic. OMG YOU COULDN’T BE MORE WRONG! school violence rates have been going down over the years, even including columbine et al. the only reason it became a big deal, an epidemic, is because it started happening in white schools instead of just inner city black schools. the nature of the “attacks” might have changed, but actual school violence is going down. and it just irritates me. i know that i have a college education, and personally know about a lot of things that others may not because they’re not interested in it. but the least you could do if you’re doing a show on mtv is do a tiny bit of research. (which i know at least some people at mtv do since i was contacted to validate some facts for one of their shows). i dunno. it just really bugged me. her commentary was retarded throughout the entire show (iann’s wasn’t much better). mtv really needs to hire me. i don’t even want to be on tv. i’ll be a researcher who writes up the teleprompter scripts for the tv people. at least i can make them appear to be smart. because watching mtv insults my intelligence.

iann had good commentary during marilyn manson’s “coma white” video. i think suchin was saying something stupid about manson always being shocking, and iann made the valid point that he’s the class clown doing it all on purpose. purposely thinking “what can i do next to piss people off, oh i’ll be jfk and then be crucified!” which is exactly what manson does. i think that if i was a famous recording artist i’d do the same thing. purposely see how many buttons i could push, see how far i could push the envelope, and see how pissed off i could make people. that’d be fun.

i also really wish i got mtv2 at school because while the program was on mtv, they were showing the videos in their entirety on mtv2. then i could have seen the countdown without having to listen to their retarded commentary. but somehow i doubt they showed completely unedited versions of the videos…especially “closer”. they showed a clip of “happiness in slavery” and i just laughed, because no way would they ever show that on any mtv channel. *still needs to see the broken movie*

 

it’s raining. so i put off doing laundry til tomorrow. better not be raining tomorrow. i had to go to the store, because i had to buy new deoderant. i hate the kind i took from home. it’s shit. and i just couldn’t wait 5 more days til i go home to get new stuff. it stopped raining for a while, but i was talking to someone so i didn’t go to the store. so i finally decided to go to the store, looked outside, it wasn’t raining. well i was wrong. it was still pouring. don’t know why i thought it wasn’t raining. but i went anyway. walked the 5 miles to my car, was soaked. i had sandals on too so my feet are wet. got the stuff i needed from wegmans. walked the 5 miles back from the parking lot to the house. yeah i’m wet. pants are wet, feet are wet, hair is wet. it’s actually sorta nice out. like it’s warm, so it’s almost a good day for walking through puddles and getting all wet. but something about it made me not want to do that. so i just feel all gross now.

 

this weeks fear episode… better than last one i think. well night 1 was kinda lame. 2 of the girls wimped out for no reason. they just stepped out of the door and freaked out and aborted (well the one girl claimed she saw a face with no body). it’s like god ur such losers, u haven’t even done anything yet!! the guy on night 1 had to hoist himself up on a meat hook thing. no big deal. then the 2 girls wimped out and they ran out of time. so then night 2 the new zealand girl had to go 1/4th mile below ground in this rickety old elevator to the irrigation tunnels. the elevator stopped and she was stuck between doors. so she was stuck in the elevator for a half hour before it started moving again and took her to the bottom. then she had to swim in the tunnels until notified. ick. then the funny black kid had to go sit in the sugar cane grinder where a guy fell in and got grinded. he was hearing noises so he was like BRING IT, and then immediately his light went off. yeah that was freaky lol. then the conveyor belt he was on started moving. then he had to press the on button for the grinder, to complete his dare. of course it didn’t turn on…not like mtv is really gonna harm these people. so that part was kinda scary…and the girl stuck in the elevator and then having to swim i thought was just wrong. cuz she could have accidentally drowned or something and no one would have been there to help. but whatever. nothing will ever beat the first 2 episodes of this season…especially the first…with the power outtage, the camera malfunctions and then everyone quitting. yeah…freaking scary. next weeks looks pretty good too. oh there was a part in this weeks where this kid was sitting in a storage room and everything started shaking. dunno what that was about, but i’d have freaked out. if i was in the show i’d probably end up quitting, but at least i know i’d get to start my dare before wimping out. i wouldn’t just walk outside the safe house and quit. i’d quit after sitting alone in a room in silence for a period of time lol. i’d sing to myself. lol

listening to pretty hate machine for the first time in months. sounds sooooo weird. after getting so used to the live tracks and the still reconstructions…yeah. so not used to it.

The videos on the DVD are separate – and the concert scene is separate and extended to get the full length of ‘Slept so Long’ and most of ‘Not Meant for Me’.” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg that’s gonna be so great!!!!

 

so i officially notified the sleep lab that i don’t want the job, so that they don’t bother scheduling a 2nd interview with me etc. was looking at some link that the career center sent out. it lists various companies and how many jobs they hire people for every year. i didn’t realize the tennesee valley authority was still in existance. i thought that was like a depression era, post ww2 thing, and was not really happening anymore. don’t know why i thought this but…whatever. they hire ppl. haha. just odd. nm forget it lol

since i dreamed about econoline last night i put in devil you know. i really hope the rumors that they broke up aren’t true, cuz…and i know i’m being selfish…but in 8 times seeing them, they only did razorblades and bandaids once…which is just not cool. i think they were supposed to do it at the missasauga show that got fucked up cuz of the stupid kid saying the show was over after they finished wicked. blah. but yeah…that song is too good to not ever been seen again live. or maybe if they did break up, trevor will do some solo shit and include ec songs in his set…i just hope they didn’t completely break up.

finally watched trent interview from much music. must say the long closeup on his lips was very nice. and totally didn’t mind the beard, so if he wants to grow it back that’s fine with me. 🙂 he’s so funny. and his eyes were blue. i totally don’t get it. his eyes are never the same color. photos, vids, whatever… they’re always different. and it can’t possibly be contacts. so now i’m just assuming they’re for real blue….and pictures or whatever just distort the real color. cuz they were so blue in the interview. nothing studios is so nice. it wasn’t what i was expecting it to look like. dunno why. but it’s super nice in there. nice place to work *HINT*.

sabres won the last game of the season 3-0 against montreal…lol suckers.

carolyn and i occupied ourselves tonight by taking US and Canadian citizenship quizzes. the US one i got 10/10 which said congratulations i am a US citizen. carolyn failed it the first time, but got her citizenship the 2nd time. the canadian one…my first try i got 11/20…and she got 14/20 LOL. 2nd time i got 15/20 and she got 17/20. and I’M NOT CANADIAN! i think the only time i learned about canada was 5th grade, and we had to know what the provinces were. lol.

 

back from the rochester cd/thrift store run. did i buy any cds? of course not :P. no one had anything i wanted for cheap. i almost bought depeche mode 101 but it’s sort of a greatest hits thing, so most of the songs i already had. but did make out pretty good at the thrift stores. bought 2 anne rice books: the vampire armand and the witching hour (not vampire chronicals book). and i bought a margaret atwood book – the handmaid’s tale, cuz it would make carolyn happy if i did. cost me a total of 2.50$ for the 3 books lol. and i got U2’s boy on vinyl for 50 cents. eric bought a few books (vampire lestat for mary, since i just bought it on half.com didn’t need to buy it there) and all the president’s men. and he bought some shirt, and cds at one store. danielle bought a new kids on the block book for 25 cents lol. so it was pretty sucessful. oh and found out that the tea party is playing at water street the day after buffalo, so got a ticket for that. half the price as the buffalo show too :P. after that i’ll have seen them 5 times. that’s just really bizarre to me. i’m not sure why. cuz it was perfectly normal to have seen econoline 8 times between march and november, but to see the tea 5 times in a year…just seems weird to me. maybe it’s cuz i don’t even know that much about them. here’s hoping shea’s and water street will be better experiences than the past 3 times, or i’m never going to see them again. lol.

now if the rain would only stop. i need to do laundry. if it’s still raining tomorrow not doing it. i have underwear til monday…tuesday if i want to wear the pink diva ones. yes they actually say diva on them lol.
