for those who care… so like, 3 of you…. this new “the downward spiral” release…actually 2 things are being released. an SACD version, remastered in surround 5.1 and blahblahblah technical stuff that i don’t know anything about. it also comes with a 2nd disc which is a compilation of b-sides, remixes, rareities…which are only somewhat new. the 2 things that jumped out as being new or that i’ve never heard are reptile and heresy demos…the rest just seems to be remixes that were on “further…” or the tds singles…BUT…there is a 2nd tds being released the same day… a dvd audio version, that contains a dvd video part featuring surround sound closer video, hurt, and march of the pigs, and image gallery…

so on november 23rd i will be buying 4 “cds”…one of which i technically already have 2 copies of (stupid car cd playing being broken and scratching up my first tds cd) and will then have 4…I KNOW I’M INSANE YOU DON’T HAVE TO TELL ME. i am a fan to the core.

and in other news….yeah. this uniform. i walk to my table and tony is my floor. tony looks at me and says “you look….nice” and starts laughing. mustard just isn’t my color. and it had that jean fly thing going on…where the fabric is thick and sticks out so you look like you have an erection. yeah. looked like i had an erection coming out of my stomach. way flattering.

mr kitty won’t stop sneezing. but apparently is getting used to molly (the dog btw) enough that she took a nap with her today.

anyway. after a long long time without buying any new cds, november is looking to be an exciting month. 2 new a perfect circle records, new u2 record, remastered version of the downward spiral (hey i’ll take any semi new nin i can get), and i do believe i’m forgetting something else as well…

aunt carol is in town for a few days. after 6 or so years of her saying she was coming to visit haha. they stopped into work for a bit but i was no where near break time so they left at some point without saying goodbye. i think they’re going to the finger lakes tomorrow, and i have to take the cat to the vet on monday so dunno when i’m going to see her at all.

speaking of the cat, apparently it somehow got into the heating ducts in the basement this morning hahah.

 

oh wow these uniforms are so completely unflattering on me. and they couldn’t have picked a worse color – this horible dijon mustard color. no wait, they could have. some of the food and beverage people get to wear bright pumpkin…that’s the worse color they could have picked. i guess i should be thankful then. still. so unflattering….

all sorts of changes going on at work…new uniforms debuted today, no big deal. but all sorts of procedural changes that are stupid and confusing. we’re supposed to be cracking down on dealers for game pace, and correct procedures and stuff. it’s tough. i don’t say much and i don’t want the little i say to be full of negative things. so i’m struggling a bit to find that medium ground. ah well. tonight was annoying because it was quite busy, and i was in a horrible section with very weak dealers. makes for an incredibly long night.

i forgot that the rock, rap and register voting…thing…was happening at the terminal on saturday…i thought it was sunday, so i was counting on my long saturday afternoon so i could do laundry and get caught up on stuff i haven’t done all week cuz of being distracted by the cat. but nope. going to the terminal in the afternoon (after getting tix to the tea show of course) until who knows when. definitely not staying the entire time though. just can’t do it captain…

and i’m all sorts of sore with many invisible bruises that hurt and have no origin…that i can remember at least haha

today was spent doing errands for the nameless cat (we tried a few today including deiter hehe it just doesn’t work). mom called and heard the cat meowing (cuz it doesn’t stop if no one is paying attention to him) and was like “did you get a cat?!” lol. went to parents for dinner, then back home. adr came over and corrected assignments, boys came over and watched the 101 best snl moment countdown for awhile before watching american history x (finally). a brutal but good movie. who knew eddie furlong did anything besides terminator and pet sematery. how did we ever think he was cute? i thought he was a girl in the opening scene of amhisx. a girl with a shaved head. reminded me of that italian movie brian brought one week with kate blanchet with a shaved head. but i digress

i have a massive migraine complete with half my face feeling weird, taking way too many drugs that didn’t do anything, and resorted to icing myself down (which didn’t really work either). i want to throw up but am not close enough to doing so…i’d have to go all bulemic and i’m not about to do that…..

the cat says hi LOL bri took some pics that hopefully are better than the ones i took, cuz the cat actually was sitting still for a while.

tomorrow…board meeting…maybe work on the arcade liquor cabinet…we’ll see. i bought blade cuz it was a possible movie to watch tonight, maybe tomorrow instead….who knows. i get to take lei’s car to the meeting tho, cuz james needs to stash his arcade game. another addition to our deck haha

 

tea party is playing in the falls in october, luckily during my vacation so i don’t have to request a saturday off!!! yaaaay. good thing i didn’t go ahead and buy tickets to their toronto show this morning, as the falls show is 20$ cheaper.

kitty without a name has a vet appointment on monday. on grand island. the one close to use won’t take new pets…stupid heads. whatev.

something is very very VERY wrong with my computer. so no pictures of the cat til it’s fixed i guess. i don’t know what’s wrong with it, it just keeps going black, and “going to sleep” and then it stopped recognizing the ethernet crap, and i have no internet……FIX IT.

comp magically fixed itself overnight….left norton running when i went to bed, woke up and it was turned off….turned it back on and everything works and i have internet again and….dunno wtf happened.

kitty keeps wanting to stand on my head and lick my ears…..lol

i have the most fabulous friends in the world. only my friends would go garbage-pick arcade game cases off the side of the road in the middle of the night. a new project!!!

currently trying to find good pictures of old arcade cases so we can repaint these to look like a certain game. i found a good one of pacman, still looking for another one. this new project will be quite interesting i think. we still haven’t finished the last project lol.

i think i’m gonna get a cat.

tuesday: i worked an hour and a half, everyone was at jasen’s preparing to watch the real starwars #1, so i headed out there.

wednesday: day off, back to jasen’s for #2

thursday: u2 day hehe. also a perfect circle’s new single, a cover of “imagine”, arrived on the net too, it’s delightfully creepy and sounds nothing like the original (thanfully haha). it was almost too much haha. made chili, went to canada with lei and james, played mini golf, got a few drinks, went to the arcade where we scored pretty quality prizes for an arcade…a shot glass, 3 sand stuffed amphibians, some stickers. went to the flying saucer restaurant after, since it turns out it is 24 hrs, then back home to bed. fun times.

i’m such a basket case. i was laying in bed reading “vivian lives” (the sequal to the autobiography of vivian, which i finished last week) crying my eyes out through the oh…last 8 chapters or so. lol. i really can’t help but laugh at myself. it really is like i’m reading about myself. and while i haven’t had anywhere close to the same experiences, i’d probably react the same way. a neurotic scarred insecure basket case who pretends to know what she’s doing.

and i still can’t figure out if she is a real person or not.

either way i think it was supposed to be a bit encouraging and inspirational, but some how, at this moment, that backfired, and i feel more insecure and doubting than i normally do….the book plus other..issues to blame of course
