oh. and zootv came out on dvd so i went and got a copy today. now we wait for popmart on dvd, and i’ll never need the vcr ever again hahah. but also, some part of yahoo video has featured bono’s home movies of “a day in the life of edge” and they are so funny. bono taped them in florida, busts in on edge in his hotel room, makes him get up. i love when bono laughs. they’re funny. and actually, they are exactly how i would expect them to act “in real life”. i love edge. tomorrow, part 3.
haircut. WAY short. i say that every time, but it’s really WAY way short. i wacked my head at the terminal yesterday and didn’t think much of it til the hair dresser kept touching that area, i have a lump haha.

got kmfdm tickets. oct 9th. yay. i go back to work tuesday. thankfully heinousbitchfromhell took a few days off so i didn’t have to talk to her when i called scheduling today.
went down to the arena today with phil to get season tickets. section 321 row 10. so if anyone needs tickets to a game next year let me know and they’re yours (eric…lightning games…hehe). stopped in the store…the logo isn’t as bad in person but it still is bad. and it’s bad when it’s really big. some of the shirts were decent. all the old stuff is on sale now at reasonable prices. and they had bears with logos, and dogs, and elephants but still no sabretooth dolls. wtf.
i’m all about slideshows at the moment. i keep thinking of other things to make, tho i haven’t done any others yet hehe.
and i have to apologize again but i love america’s next top model, and i love tyra. and i want AJ hair, getting mine cut tomorrow. sadly, it’s been cut like that before and never looks like that. her photo was amazing tho. /me likes her. is the show always on wednesdays? if so, goodie for me. hahahah

HA i had a dream about nkotb last night. i thought my dreams revolved mostly around urbexing something also called spaulding in las vegas that involved water and the tide coming in and out and weird stuff. but that was only the beginning. was urbexing and then i realized what time it was and i was supposed to meet my friends, so i left and went to find them, and they were in a treehouse type thing in a playground. we were discussing what we were going to do, and i mentioned that me and someone who turned out to be angela had tickets to nkotb tomorrow and that after the show we’d be leaving to go back home. except our flight was at 7pm and the show didn’t start til 8. that made me realize that the show was that night, and not the following. and here we are all scummy from exploring but we had no time to shower and change or anything. so we went to the hotel where the concert was, and it was a reunion show, and an extra special one at that because it was to be the only one, and jon even gave in to being in the show. i was running around trying to find the box office, because for some reason the tickets we got sent were just preliminary tickets and we had to turn them in for the real tickets at the box office. i had to run around and deal with stupid crap before finally getting the tickets and going back to where they were playing…oddly they were playing live, and there was a section of seats, but they were also broadcasting it on a big screen in another room for overflow from the main room LOL. i managed to score 4th row tickets. i went to this lobby area where there were ppl standing around to try and find angela and i found my other friends. and at this point we were a half hour late for the show. found angela and that was about it….hahah
to canadians – please tell me why the age of consent for straight couples and lesbian couples is 14, but for gay men, it’s 18…
yesterday brough the buffalo brewfest at central terminal. for the most part it was a pretty good event, and we shoud get a nice chunk of money. the place was packed – apparently only designed to hold 3500, i’d say there were that many or more. 3000 tickets were presold, and they had to turn about 200 people away at the door. it was strange to have to walk through the mass of humanity to get to the other side of the concourse. when you’re used to it being empty…it was almost too crowded, and i was gonna get concert mentality and start throwing elbows if i had to keep walking around. there weren’t any drunken fights or any major problems – only us having to chase people out of the dark baggage cart area and waiting room, where they decided to take a piss on our floor. not happy.
after the event a bunch of us went out to dinner, had a good time. talked about religion with a nice mix of people with various views on it. and no one killed eachother. haha
next week is oktoberfest but i’ll be at eric’s wedding. too bad it’s in the finger lakes area or i could try to make both. adrienne will be in friday morning, i’m sure i’ll need help with my costume. i cut it all out yesterday but it took me like 3 hours and kitty wrecked one of the patterns so i wasn’t in the mood haha. i’m bored to tears at the moment though.

the new jerseys….they look black, white and yellow. bumblebee ish. and the logo is still terrible. and if that is the best from 80 logos they had to choose from, i’d hate to see the others.
so so so so terrible. the jerseys don’t match the pants. orange socks, wtf…sure the old jerseys look dated, but there were nice redesigns of the old logo on the web 3 years ago. you can’t tell me “When your old logo is such an icon, it’s hard to redo it” http://www.newblueandgold.com/…he certainly had no problem redoing it. ooo he updated the page with info from this year. gah his design was so great!
and apparently along with the color change, there is a new sabretooth… GAH!!! nooooo a blue and yellow sabretooth?!!?!?! how terrible!

i have found the be all and end all, best video ever made. by Greg Hihn called “Jeopardy”. Yes this is the song Weird Al parodied as “I lost on Jeopardy”. Funny thing is, that sounds like what he is saying in the real song to begin with. This is the video: bride gets out of a limo and runs into a church as if she’s late for her wedding. groom (greg) is standing around nervous. they start the ceremony and greg gets more nervous. he looks behind him to see a couple chained together with handcuffs. he looks behind again, and their hands have melted into one hand. he looks behind him again and…something…coming from their hips are attached together…couldn’t figure out what they were. just big growths of skin i guess. then the priest wants him to put the ring on the bride’s finger, so he does, and lifts the veil. there is his pretty bride who SUDDENLY turns into a screaming skeleton. the church flashes green, and greg runs down the aisle. but wait!! the church is posessed, and a big worm like creature – much like the sand worms in Beetlejuice – bursts out of the floor and wraps itself around greg and pulls him back to the altar. he tries to hold on to a pew, but the pew was poorly constructed and a piece of wood rips off in his hand as he is being dragged by the worm creature. the worm pulls him back to the altar, and he starts stabbing the worm creature with the piece of pew wood. the worm creature starts to spew slime on the groom. then suddenly the worm creature is gone, and greg plays air guitar for all the wedding guests on the pew wood. then it shows greg and his bride leaving the church, having rice thrown at them, and getting into the limo…which is really a HERSE!…from there the camera pans back to show a projector showing this adventure on the wall to…the bride and groom as skeletons!!!!!! oh and the end was something about greg stealing the bottle of champagne and running away into his car, just as another bride is running out of the church. so he goes and picks her up and they drive away. and his license plate says “lips” on it.
dan arrived around 5 after going the wrong way and ending up at the zoo hahahaha. he could have stopped at adr2s house for directions haha. anyway. we went for steak at the steakhouse at fallsview in canada. it was ok. after eating at my casino’s steakhouse everything else just drops many many levels. came back home and chilled with the tv and made him have some absinthe..so there may be about 1/4th of the bottle left hahaha. i had a glass. it’s still wretched. LOL
i decided to try and sew myself a halloween costume – a can can girl from moulin rouge. my mom took me to get material last night, and my attempts to figure out how to cut it failed. i measured myself and my measurements made me size 16 and just none of it made sense…hahaha. mom came over today to look at it all and i think it’s figured out. at least the size to cut is figured out…me actually sewing it will be a different story.
don’t know whats up for tomorrow. there will be no exploring with difficult access for me, but we’ll see. anything with easy entry is fair game. i feel pretty much normal, but climbing or anything hard will hurt. it still hurts to laugh alot or to sneeze and cough. but it feels much better even from 2 days ago. i can roll over in bed without being in excruciating pain. that’s good. i go see the dr again on tuesday, and i imagine i’ll be cleared to go back to work. so i’ll pretty much get a whole 4 days of disability pay. whatever.

cassie had to cancel the trip up here this weekend 🙁 🙁 but dan/ will be here tomorrow sometime. he’ll get to see the wounds in person instead of relying on the picture haha.
