i don’t recognize rose mcgowan in any recent pictures of her. dear lord did she get alot of work done. and she’s looking quite alot like michael jackson now.

for sale: round 3 games 2 and 5, 400$ for 2 tickets. phill and i are going to game 1 on thursday, and we were planning to go to game 5, it’s at 2pm til i remembered lei’s wedding….crap! i managed to go without any conflicts in 2 years of NIN tours but can’t make it through the playoff season without conflicts. grrr and damn detroit winning.

now, do i want to go to a blah summer festival tour – projekt revolution – headed by linkin park, just to see julien-k? julien-k is amir, ryan, whoever else from orgy’s side project. it’s august 18th. i so hate festivals…

i’m also seriously considering a trip back to europe with dan in the fall-ish…his china plans seem to be on the rocks and he suggested chernobyl…god, so tempting!!! i so don’t have any more time off! and as if he can read our minds…trent just announced shows in moscow and st petersburg….dear lord just make this even harder now

tonight work almost made me want to be a better person, and find god, so i don’t go to hell. because that’s what tonight was. they closed the hotel gaming floor to do computer upgrades or something – except for 2 tables, bacarrat tables of course, and i have to be on one of them. the lack of slot machine noise made the horrible 90s radio station even louder/worse than normal. on top of that, i thought it was an hour later than it actually was. tony and i realized that this is what hell is like. bacarrat where IMMEDIATELY upon sitting down, matt called me lucifer – with a sound track including boys ii men, alanis, barenaked ladies, etc etc etc. the occasional good song made the situation purgatory, but the ratio of good to bad songs is like 1:7. alas. hell. i told tony i was going to have to go home and listen to some real metal, he suggested slayer ha.

spencer tunick did a new mass nude installation in mexico city – 18000 people!! we had a mere 1800. we got a mention in the article though…

thursday night brought monty python’s Spamalot to Shea’s Theatre in buffalo. a bunch of us from work (15 i think) went out to see it, meeting up at pearl street brewery for drinks and food. i hadn’t eaten anything all day, and had a huge very dark beer. yeah. drunk. haha. had a mixed drink after we ate, and i didn’t realize that pearl st gives you mixed drinks in pint glasses LOL. it was huge. drunk. then the bartender gave me a 3rd drink free even though i didn’t want it hahahah. it was fun! Spamalot was hilarious. i could have used a monty python refresher beforehand i think, but it was still hilarious. i had trouble understanding the dialog, the accent and speaking so fast, and being sorta drunk, but it was fine. personally i liked the flashing star of david haha. very good. next season at Shea’s they’re bringing in Wicked and Avenue Q! exciting hehe. some of us went out again afterwards to the tap room, where a blues band was performing. very low key and more my kind of place than if we had decided to go to some club on chippewa (actually, i wouldn’t have gone in that case haha). wasn’t out too late but we had fun.

sabres won tonight in overtime. stressful haha. 1 more win for this round, and 2 games left to get it. stressful haha. then bring on (most likely) ottawa. *choke* 🙂

oh a certain ex sabres defenseman with the initials J.M. was in again tonight…without a hat. for the first time ever. i didn’t recognize him. especially because he cut his hair real short. and when i looked at him i did a triple take because he looked exactly like eric. i mean, it’s RIDICULOUS how much he looked like eric. dimples and everything. the spiked hair did it i think, cuz i never noticed the resemblance before. it was unreal.

catching up on america’s next top model…the final 5…natasha…WTF. she is so hideous in person. air brushing makes anyone look pretty, and dear lord do they do alot of work on her photos to make her not look so frightening.

failed infiltration mission tonight. frustrating. in a way. 3 possible ways in, 1 dangerous and easily seen, 2 breaking and entering. and a phone number, anyone want to call? 716-432-7058. nothing comes up on reverse lookup but i’m curious. anyone still good at math? i can’t remember how to do permutations, but how many possible 4 number combinations can you make from 0-9? hahahahaha aaah just cut the locks off haha.

last week someone on uer.ca had gotten into the memorial auditorium. my first reaction was pissed off. my 2nd was that i actually didn’t really care (i’m so bored with buffalo and indifferent to exploration at this time). i didn’t really know what the point of trying was, when you can’t see a damn thing in complete darkness. a tiny flashlight isn’t going to make a difference. so i thought, well whatever, maybe some day i’ll get in legally. then someone sent me the photos. and i was sorta interested again. they’re not good pictures in the slightest, but they’re very sad. i have absolutely no memory of what the aud looks like inside. i was there as a very little kid for disney on ice shows, and i saw a sabres game in what…95? with adr and her youth group. as i was telling phill the other day the only memory i have of that game is that we played pittsburgh, and i just remember jagr and everyone shooting the puck behind the net along the boards and it was boring. last row oranges behind the goal. and it ended in a tie. i have no idea who was even on the sabres at that point.

anyway. it did sorta spark my interest into finding the way in again. i parked near an interesting…i don’t know what you even call it…an area that ends up under ground level on the side of the building. possible that it offers access into a basement, but it also may not go anywhere. and it was full of wood and debris. i was on my way to the game so i didn’t check it out much…and other than that, i have no. clue. at. all. how one would get in.

oh well. and wow it is in bad shape. serious reuse, especially as a smaller capacity venue would take aaaalooottt of money to fix up. you can see the bad air quality in the photos, mold and “orbs”, lots of debris. and sadly some graffiti. and not amusing graffiti at that.

i don’t know what the problem is but…i cannot send any email through any of my webmail accounts, i cannot even get gmail to load, i can’t get to myspace, and i can’t post any lj comments longer than 1 line. if you need me to reply to anything, the only thing working is the sistermidnight address, since i don’t use the webmail i use netscape v4 haha. and i can’t check anything at work cuz they’ve pretty much blocked everything now. so adr2 – take care of the myspace if you can.

*edit* it’s a time warner issue in WNY. if you call them, they tell you don’t bother, cuz they know it’s broken.

*edit2* and it seems to be fixed now. and WOW someone way from the past, not a good past, friended me on myspace. wow. only adr will know what this means…it’s someone who used to call you wembley.

i guess i forgot to mention last night… i got rear ended on my way to best buy. i think it was karma for even thinking about doing the phone scam. it was no big deal, surprisingly. it was a surprise because well…it was pouring, and the lady who hit me was an idiot. she had been driving stupid all the way down the street, me behind her – not turning during the green arrow (and yes i totally typed aaron right there), driving in both lanes. i finally passed her, and then she hits me. i knew she was going to. i slowed for the ppl stopping in front of me, and in my rear view mirror she’s coming at me full speed. i just knew she wasn’t going to stop. when we got out of the cars she was like, wow i’m really surprised my brakes worked at all on the wet pavement. wow. so luckily there is nothing wrong with my car, there was only a small bit of my paint on her car, and off we went. i thought about faking whiplash but i don’t think even william mattar would be able to convince anyone that i was suffering from whiplash in an accident that didn’t hurt either car hahah.

so yeah. took back the original phone to bestbuy for my refund. i ordered a replacement lens for my phone, and picked all the broken glass out so i’m ready to do the install once the replacement arrives. and i wasted my night uploading tons of crap to the phone – like trent singing eyes without a face hahah – and fainting goats, and loads of special ringtones for my 5 friends. if anyone needs rick jeanneret ringtones i’ve got’em haha.

time to start going to work with raid in the car again – the giant man eating spiders have returned already, at least on the garage. time to take them out from the safety of inside my car haha. i should probably try this ant barrier stuff too before the ants show up again…the only thing i hate about my house, the bugs…

i’m too paranoid about doing the phone switch and returning the broken one to bestbuy. i should have chuck do it since he was the one who claims he does it all the time. but i’m too nervous, especially because of how much it cost, bestbuy will only refund the money in the form of a check – and not immediately upon the return. which leaves time for them to check serial numbers and see that the phone doesn’t match the box…just too too nervous. taking it back today, the real phone, not the broken phone. i’m looking into just getting the screen repaired, seems that it won’t be that expensive, and i could possibly do it myself (waiting for instructions on that to decide).

felt really really sick last night after the game (11 more wins!) so i went to bed early (12:30!!). but then had trouble sleeping and didn’t sleep until around 4 anyway. which meant sleeping in until 2:30 again. meeting tonight so i best be off to take care of the return and all that.
