well last night was another fun filled night at danielle’s playing pool. we went to barnes and nobels first, then thrift store, media play, target, best buy, before danielle’s. we’re figuring we’re all gonna get real good at pool this summer, since it’s free, and her house is air conditioned lol. i managed to hit 5 balls in, in a row. and i suck. lol.

today i went and gave blood. they didn’t screw it up this time. it only took me 10 min to fill the bag (but i was there for about an hour and a half), they didn’t bruise my tendons this time etc. i’m going to be on tv too. when i got there channel 4 news was doing a live segment, but had just finished. when i was in the chair, they came back because they wanted more shots of ppl giving blood. ug. i hate being on tv. but i bought the novel of the godfather for a quarter lol.

and while i was there, there was a weather report on the radio about tornados in olean. LOL. i’m like, that bitch (carolyn) is gonna be in a tornado! but i shouldn’t say that, because if something really awful happened, like the tornado hit kurt’s house, i’d feel real bad. but I WANNA BE IN A TORNADO grrrrrrr. i got my earthquake a few months ago, now i need the tornado! *pouts*

adrienne will be home some time tonight. she hasn’t been online in 2 days tho, so i haven’t talked to her to find out when. the idea was tossed around to go to thursday in the square but, with the heat, there are thunderstorms predicted for the area all day. we’ll see. i need gas for my car, and one of the stations has 5 cents off today, so i guess i’ll go do that haha. exciting lives eh? oh and i was going to make mp3s to make my nin bsides cd, since my dad can rip mp3s on his comp now. *praying for the cd burner tomorrow*

 

it got real dark here all of a sudden. apparently we’re under a severe thunderstorm warning. i swear to god if it hails on my car again, someone’s gonna pay lol.

dude, after working at hard rock cafe for a period of months, you can choose to transfer anywhere in the world! lol i’m so gonna do that!! ok maybe not, but i’d love to do that hehe

the edge got married the other day. bono was his best man. awwww. hehe. he married the belly dancer from zoo tv.

i got called for another job from my online resume posting. chrobinson.com, sales again. she asked if i would be interested, and i told her i applied for a few other sales jobs and both them and me thought sales wasn’t for me. but she kept going, saying that they’re not normal sales, explained what it was etc. i told her i’d look at the website, but i probably won’t get back to her. we’ll see. my mom is all on my case to find a job. she’s like, how many resumes did you send out yesterday? today she’s like, i hope you do something today like FIND A JOB. um yeah, maybe it’s just me but i found a job. and yes i’m going to keep looking for a 2nd job, but i’d kinda like to start the first one. so whatever. screw her.

it is so friggen hot. it’s hotter and more humid here today than in new orleans. i can’t escape it!! there are severe thunderstorms predicted for this afternoon, but it’s 3, and it’s sunny so….

the internet was broken for hrs this morning. my life was unplugged. haha.

last night i ended up going to danielle’s with eric to fix her computer. played pool, goofed off, went to dennys. no big whoop. all my plans hinge on whether or not i get scheduled to work now. i think i might ask not to have to work friday if possible. saturday is the free friendship fest show with finger 11, and free=good. haha. tuesday is the free friendship fest show with david usher…and july 12th…the best show ever….vanilla ice!!!! hehe, he’s playing rochester, and i so hope i don’t have to work, or just work a dayshift so that i can go. hahah. i’m meeting that bitch!! muhammed is having a party the 13th. he said he’d go to hamilton to see tool with me too. i currently long for my monday-friday 6-2 set schedule at mcds….*sigh* i should write a list of days i need off so i can take it with me tonight. cuz i’ll definitely need bowie day off….whenever that is, since i always forget. i think hard rock should be cool with me saying i need days off for concerts, since u know… it’s a music restaurant lol.

there was other shit i was gonna say but i forget now. oh well.

 

i was informed today that my parents are going to wisconsin for 4th of july…a bit spur of the moment, and they don’t know how they’re getting there. i guess that means i don’t need off that weekend. however it would be nice, so maybe i won’t tell them 🙂 we were just talking last night about doing something for the 4th even if it was just cooking on the grill on my deck or something. i guess we’ll see.

i should leave for work soon. dunno how much traffic there is going to be getting down there, and how long it’s gonna take to find parking. i dont want to have to pay 8 fucking dollars for the ramp. arg. hate the falls.

 

end of the day…now for a recap (there is a hideously scary orange moon out again tonight.)

so orientation was the typical filling out paperwork, watching video, going over policies and stuff. we got our uniform things – denim shirts, 3 pins, and the nametag that looks like a backstage pass so we feel all cool and important haha. i have to read through my books and stuff, cuz they give you a test or something haha. i get 50% off merchandise, and 50% off food at all corporate stores (i just have to call ahead) for me and up to 5 other people. so that rocks. sucks tho, because i actually have a uniform shirt, not any hard rock shirt. only retail gets to wear the merchandise. and i wanted to get some of the cool shirts (they get 3 free to start!!!! that’s like a 90$ value!!!). they have some really nice ones now, not just the normal hrc logo ones that everyone and their brother have had the past 15 years. i was going to get one in new orleans and vegas but i didn’t.

bad thing – celebrity policy. you’re not allowed to treat them any differently than normal customers. you can’t ask for pictures or autographs. i guess i’ll just have to get fired if trent came in. nsync was in last summer apparently.

so on the way home, i got stuck on river road cuz of a long slow running train. and of course i had to pee like a race horse. ended up driving past eric on the way home. 5 min after i got home, he showed up with danielle at my house haha. we headed to the mall, andersons for ice cream, and danielle’s to screw with the computers some more and play pool.

i work on saturday, 4:30 to close (1:30am). won’t get home til around 2. i said i preferred day shifts, so we’ll see how things end up when i get normal schedules. i asked off for bowie, and vanilla ice, and august 26th because i think that was the tool show. haha i was just like whatever, i can change it later. i have off friday, so my birthday dinner is on.

for your information, it’s so weird to parallel park on the opposite side of the street. which is what i did tonight. i was all disoriented at first haha. but it’s all good. i’m a master parallel parker.

hanging out with chris yesterday for a few hours reminded me how much adolescence sucks. i don’t understand people who say they’d love to go back to high school. high school sucks. being a teenager sucks. who wants to relive all that stupid shit again? definitely not me, thanks. and i didn’t even have a bad time with it all. it still sucked though.

i think it’s funny, that all year in school i’d get up for class, turn my comp on, go take a shower etc. i’d come back in my room and everyone and their brother would IM me. and i’d be like helllooo i need to get ready for classssss can’t talk to youuuuu. and now that i’m home, and i have no job, i get up and sit at my computer for hrs before i do anything, and no one ever talks to me. lol. and it always seems like people only talk to me right when i was about to leave the house or something. lol. funny how that works.

 

i have the greatest urge to start singing alanis morrisette’s “hands clean” even tho i don’t know the words, or melody, and i’ve only heard it once. it just seems sort of appropriate to the way i’m feeling right now. i’m officially taking the stance of “not my problem” in almost everything right now. it’s self-centered and i don’t care. until someone comes to me and needs my help, it’s “not my problem”. i will always be here for any of my friends who need my help. even if i don’t like them. LOL. just know that. but for now, i’m done *wipes hands*.

so instead of alanis, i’ll just listen to the Broken EP. Staind’s “mudshovel” is a really good song when you’re pissed off. i got it in my head today cuz eric’s random lyric generator had a line from it. then i was like wow, this is so great if you’re pissed off (which i wasn’t at the time). i don’t own staind tho, so Broken will do. Eric and I decided to go in together on the Broken movie sometime this summer – so we can be completely disgusted, disturbed and thrilled by trent’s genius :). the bootleg guy at the flea market said he has it. i wonder about the quality tho. 10 bucks, so whatever. it’s better than the undistinguishable real video file i had.

i hope i don’t have to work friday night. since it’s my birthday and everything. i figured since i’ll have just finished training if i get scheduled wed and thurs, they wouldn’t want a new person working on such a busy night yet…hahah. but we’ll see. not like i have anything planned. carolyn and kurt were going to take me to dinner, but now it might not happen since carolyn got a job too. dunno. i don’t even care really. birthdays….whatever…no big deal.

got to the interview early, was back in my car at 9:07. and now i’m dead tired for the rest of this extremely muggy day. dunno what’s going on. dunno what the parents and friends have in store today. if it’s someplace with AC i’ll go with them lol.

anyway, hard rock. they’re gonna call tomorrow. it was good. i got to talk about trent, so :). she asked what kind of music i like, and i said everything but mostly harder stuff. and i’m like and THAT is my favourite piece in here (trent’s smashed keyboard signed by trent, chris vrenna and i think danny lohner). she’s like oooh trent reznor. hehe. so we talked about new orleans and finding trent’s house, and stuff.

 

went to the flea market, galleria, and frisbees with eric. it’s too hot out. we both bought packs of rockstar trading cards rofl. they were 4 for a buck. and i got 2 korn cds at frisbees. frisbees is the greatest cd store in the area. i got follow the leader and issues for 3 bucks each. we stopped at record theatre and blockbuster to see if high school people were working, but they weren’t. next time.

i don’t think i ever mentioned the greatest person ever. when i was at the mall with eric and adrienne last week sometime, this car drove by with this white kid inside, blasting rap music. his license plate said “getto joe” ROFLMAO. it was so great….brings to mind a certain offspring song *sings* pretty fly for a white guy.

i forgot that my dr appt tomorrow is at 8 freaking 45 in the morning. after having no sleep since thursday. this blows. so coming home to nap.

 

i forgot to mention what i did in my free time today. there was an article in the buffalo news about the # of sex offenders in niagara county. so i decided to go look them up on line. i got a big kick out of it. not too sure why, or if that’s a good thing. 1 lives on oliver, another 18 year old one lives in the avenues. and one guy, not in NT, but in the area… his name is Harry Dicks. NO LIE! man, you gotta be a sex offender with a name like that lol.

i’m getting REAAAAALLY tired of being rained on wherever i go. it’s gone a bit too far now. graduation rehersal, the falls after graduation, new orleans 3 times, moving my car in the hailstorm, coming home in the hailstorm, and tonight at the show.

the show was good. found joe and everyone when we got there. we were up front. like that’s a shock. full nine opened, after waiting forever, like a normal Arizona’s event. after them i was really tired of standing there, so i left, and went back by myself. got some water, etc. moved around a few times before tea came on. i ended up being befriended by a group of drunk people hahah. they’re like, come join us. there was one girl sober who talked to me before tea came on, she was cool. i think they were all near like 30, which was weird. i got to watch these 2 couples be drunk…they were two fatish balding older men with their piss ass drunk girlfriends(?)…but they were way liberal with the girlfriend sharing. i was like omg ew ur so gross. the drunk people made me dance with them. lol.

so the tea played a good show. it was weird tho, cuz of the rain. after apathy they took a break so they could do what had to be done so that they didn’t get electrocuted lol. and psychopomp was so great, cuz well the song is amazing, and it didn’t rain during the song except during jeff martin’s solo. it was like that a few other times too, kinda spooky. and then temptation was great, cuz the sky just opened up and it poured. everyone was singing and jumping around in the rain. there was no encore because “it was just too dangerous in the rain”….but by then the rain had stopped – it was off and on the whole time. and if anyone saw that MTV spring break show, bush played one year in a monsoon lol. they covered their guitars in plastic bags it was so bad. but whatever. it was good.

blah, hate being wet.

and oh yeah. who did i manage to park next to? STP kid…. CANNOT GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!!!!!!! he was with 2 of his cronies – one being AIDS boy who was involved in the water street altercation lol. at least stp kid doesn’t pretend to be our friend anymore. after the whole rick wanting to kick his ass in toronto, he’s left us alone. but he’s still there, still annoying and still ugly as hell. hahah

forgive my typing i’m a bit drunk.

the continental is so great!!!!! great great!!!!! melinda and this kid mark ended up going with me and nate. the upstairs club wasn’t open when we got there so we ended up watching the first part of Harlow’s set. Harlow was on that vh1 show bands on the run. then the club opened and we went upstairs.

talk about good first impressions. we get upstairs and get a drink, and what song comes on….”into the void”…..yeah. what a way to impress me, playing NIN….lol so i was happy. it was super. after a while melinda and mark went to walk around outside and me and nate stayed at the continental. we ended up going out back, which is like a VIP thing…so that was kinda cool. hung around with some people who were out back, talking about polygamy hahaha. then me and nate went back inside, and talked to someone who worked there. then this other guy who worked there came up and he was trying to sing NIN’s “reptile” but he had the lyrics all wrong, and he was so drunk he didn’t really know what he was singing. it was hilarious.

ended up seeing danielle and katie from mcds there. so that was nice. i hadn’t seen danielle in a while. talked to them for a bit, but then they left.

and now i’m home. yay. bedtime. i’m gonna have to pee soon lol.

 

i hate my neighbor – the vampire/norman bates – so much. actually, he’s not my neighbor anymore. he moved out, his mom still lives in the house. so every weekend he comes over and is a dick, and annoying, screwing around with lawn things and digging random holes on the side of the house and what not. today….cut the grass at….8 fucking 30 am….on a saturday. forget that i actually was out for once, 8:30 on a saturday ALOT of people are still asleep. so that fucking sucked. managed to kinda go back to sleep off and on until 11.

now i’m waiting for my parents friends to come over. my parents aren’t here, so i have to stay here to let them in. my parents are out to lunch with other friends. i need to take a shower cuz i smell like smoke. but no. i have to wait and let them in. at least i like these friends. but they’re gonna see me scummy lol.

car inspection took an hour. they were backed up. the guy had them put me in front of someone else tho, so that was nice. they left me jolly ranchers on my dashboard lol. and it was only 10$. they didn’t replace any rubber rings for 30$ or anything, so that was nice. the dealer is really nice. of course, it’s the only dealer i’ve ever been to (other than geneseo and the radio replacment fiasco), but they have this service area cafe for you to wait in. free coffee, and water, and then other food to buy. it was real nice in there, and air conditioned lol. and they didn’t think “ooooh a girl, she doesn’t know shit about cars, let’s replace a bunch of crap to make some money” so i’m happy.

i had this wacko dream about Akasha from the vampire chronicals. like, i was lestat and i had the power to wake her and stuff. and then there was this whole part about moving out of geneseo again, but i lived with my research group. which reminds me i should send beth her money. she never got back to me if a check is ok, and now i forget how much i have to send her. if only people would use my real email address and not my school one anymore i wouldn’t have this problem.

trying to find out tool information still. i just sent tickets.com mean feedback about how much their site sucks, and how i’m so tired of them. and that i thought ticketmaster was bad. hahah. no info about the hamilton show still. i forgot to go to tops yesterday to see if they know anything, and i’m real happy that the 2 DJs at 103.3 that i emailed got back to me too 😛 cuz they’re so busy.

for those who care and didn’t hear. the NHL took over the Sabres. they’re talking to groups from buffalo who would keep the team in buffalo, to buy it. so that’s good. i think. hahah

 

there are some giantic crows across the street. i think they’re the biggest crows i’ve ever seen. they haven’t been a real big nussiance to me in the morning yet. i don’t think i’ve heard them at all. at least i haven’t wanted to buy a blow gun yet. but all the little birds have been waking me up every morning at 4. just like today. i can’t fall asleep til 2 ish, cuz i sleep in so long (cuz i can’t fall asleep til 2ish), and then get woken up at 4. i have this problem where i fall asleep but don’t know i’m asleep, so i don’t feel rested. the pretentious phd i interviewed with at the sleep lab told me about it. it’s the main problem with insomnia, he’s found. the people really are sleeping, but their brain waves don’t let them know they’ve fallen asleep. so they report having not slept. well that happened last night. 4:15 the birds woke me up and i thought i had still been up since i got into bed at midnight. but i knew it couldn’t really be possible that i was still awake 4 hours later. whatever.

i’m so friggen bored. and hot. and in a bad mood. sorta. i dunno. i don’t know what to wear to the show tomorrow, cuz it’s gonna be hot and possibly rain. i don’t want to be uncomfortable, but i’m going to end up that way. arg. i hate arizona’s.

 

i guess i’m going to the continental with nate tonight. he gets out of work at 10:30. this will be interesting. i wish i had better clothes.

guess what time i woke up this morning. 5:30. yeah. forced myself to go back to sleep. had a weird dream about taking a shower with a bunch of other people with all our clothes on, and getting gum stuck all in my hair.

so i’ve been trying to find out what the deal was with the tool show. tickets.com is retarded, they have no information – if you can even find the correct working onsale page…but anyway. at first i was under the impression it was like a normal hsbc show, GA floor, reserved seats everywhere else. but then eric said he heard that it was all GA, no reserved seats. the ottawa show, from ticketmaster.ca, seems to be all GA too. so i looked at the other US shows on ticketmaster.com and the new orleans show is entirely GA with no reserved seating, but others are GA floor and upperlevel seats…so no idea what buffalo is. and that makes a big difference because of it’s all GA i don’t need to get my ticket on saturday. i can wait to find out if hamilton is going to be cheaper (since there is still no info about it), and i can have a job hahaha….oh maybe i’ll email the radio station. so they can tell me they don’t know either. haha

it’s super hot out today. crap.

 

back from hard rock interview. i have to go back sunday at 9 am to meet with general manager who has the final say on hiring. it’d be for hostess position, 7$ an hour. they hire waitresses who have 2-3 years experience. but they put people in departments (like hosting) and u can work your way into other depts. i guess the progression is hostess, to bussing (3.30 an hr plus tips, so ur taking home 100+$ a night), to waitress, to bartending. they hire bartenders with 4-5 years experience. she told me they’re a 4$million store, and they make 75% of that in june – august. that’s incredible lol. so yeah, she said they need ppl with experience already cuz it’s so busy, and stuff. whatever. it’s air conditioned, and it’s more $ there than mcds lol, even if i have to drive farther. it’ll be fun. if i get hired that is. and i don’t see why i wouldn’t be.

so last night, eric walked over cuz he was bored, and i was bored. so instead of being bored alone we’d be bored together. ended up watching the nin dvd since he doesn’t own it (call yourself a fan lol). that kinda spurred us onto the ultimate setlist. so i’m going to create my ultimate nin setlist. i figure 15 songs is about right…i’ll probably go over. oh, and these are in no particular order

so tonight, going out to dinner for mom’s birthday. yay. and then dunno what. it’s really friggen hot. i don’t want to move cuz my room is like 4 bazillion degrees. and today is amir’s birthday too. i have no idea how old he is. i’m guessing like 38.

 

 

 

there was a beehive in my car. in the backseat passenger door. i was like WOAH BEEHIVE!! haha so it’s all gone now. i took a picture but since i still don’t know how to really work my camera, who knows if it’ll turn out. the picture i took of the louis and lestat house in new orleans turned out even tho it was on some setting that i don’t know how to use yet, so maybe this one will too.

so i was thinking of fun things that i can do this summer with my friends. whoever is around. i came up with a few
1. maid of the mist/cave of the winds. we can pretend to be tourists.
2. day/overnight trip to watkins glen…it’s not that far, we can wine taste, and go hike in the glen and stuff. i haven’t been there in years. used to go with my parents all the time. rainbow cove hotel is right on the lake and it’s cheap (or well it used to be lol)
3. trip to erie, get adrienne, then down to pittsburg to the Mystery Spot – since i never went last year.
4. or trip to erie, get adrienne, go to cleveland and rock and roll hall of fame – still haven’t been there
of course now that i might get this job at hard rock i’m not going to have weekends off most likely. grrrrrrr. loved mcds and my make my own schedule lol.

 

i don’t know why i’m watching this but i am. the teen choice music mania thing on Fox. Britney spears is on. it looks like she went to the mariah carey school of dancing – constantly grabbing her breats al la mariah in that god awful racing video….and the janet jackson school of singing/song writing/dancing….her dance moves are right out of jackson videos – she was acting just like janet…and this song, it’s like…nasty boys and control…i dont know what she was saying, except those words. something about every girl needs a nasty boy, and then she’s in control. and the singing was all that breathy crap janet does. the song sucks. it’s worse than that slave song. if that could be possible. oh well. maybe this ends in 15 min with the ja rule performance and seinfeld will be on. wow jennifer love hewitt looks horrible. so does JC…and chris just got fat…rofl ja rule makes me laff. he’s got that “i smoke 3 packs a day” voice. and this girl, ashanti…haha she can sing, and then she’s got that “ghetto accent” when she talks. makes me laff. and this song…”i wanna be your chick” hahaha….actually JC looks kinda cute LOL. oooooo you can go to seventeen.com and vote for the teen choice awards. i really don’t care that i’m 22, i’m going to vote anyway hehehe

so tonight’s adventure: eric came over. is that a surprise? drove downtown, parked in the lot he paid for, went to thursday in the square for a whole 5 minutes. i saw too many people from high school than i care to. ignored all of them. they ignored me, if they even recognized me, which is possible that they didn’t. i was never friends with any of the people we saw anyway. walked down to chippewa, walked back to the car. went down to the river for ice cream, and headed home. i think it’s funny that i’m “of age” and i’m home at 9:30 hahaha. i think i got bug bites at the river. it’s still too hot in my room. blah.

so tomorrows projects are: car inspection at 11 (so i have to wake up early lol) and maybe i’ll try out my iron on rhine stone letter things….

*looks at time* WHY THE HELL AM I AWAKE!?!?!?!?!? grrrrrr what the hell am i gonna do all day now that i’m awake this early? i actually was up at 6. why? DONT REALLY KNOW! I woke up, saw the clock. was like grrrrrrr. tried to fall back asleep, but my head hurt. never got any better from the horrid pain i was in as a tried to fall asleep last night. so i fell asleep a bit more, dreamed a bit about getting hired at hard rock, woke up at 6:30 grrrrrrrr. got up, took excedrine, tried to go back to sleep – no luck. now the garbage men went by. i think they take extreme pleasure in causing as much noise as possible and waking the entire neighborhood up. if i was still working at mcds, i’d ask them if that’s true. but since i don’t, i guess it’ll remain a mystery.

i must go back to sleep!! must!

I’ve only been looking for them for 3 years now. they had gold, silver, red jewels and silver jewels. so i got the silver ones, and used the 50% off coupon. so now i can make my rough cutt shirt, and if it works out good, i think i might get the red jewels to do a kiss the future one. yes cuz i’m still stuck in 1999 hahah. so then i had to go to michael’s, like i was intending to the entier time, to find the sequins. they finally had them. this smelly woman asked if she could cut me in line, so i let her, and then kept my distance. the boy at the cashout was so cute. there are alot of semi-goth kids working at that store. last time when i was getting the photo album this girl who was younger than me, from high school, worked there…still all sorta goth and stuff. but this boy was so cute, and he had cool hair and was really nice. his name was chuck haha. of course i didnt do my hair, or anything. figures.

so i’ve done everything on my list to do today. super. lol

 

i thought of other things to buy myself after my birthday – steering wheel cover…ok so i thought of 1 thing to buy myself haha. aunt darleen came over and gave me my bday gift – the 2 vampire chronical books i didn’t have yet. so now the last one i need is the most recent, blood and gold, which was at the discount book store in hard cover for 8 bucks. and she said she’s got everyone eye out at barnes and nobles for the new chucky p book.
