car inspection took an hour. they were backed up. the guy had them put me in front of someone else tho, so that was nice. they left me jolly ranchers on my dashboard lol. and it was only 10$. they didn’t replace any rubber rings for 30$ or anything, so that was nice. the dealer is really nice. of course, it’s the only dealer i’ve ever been to (other than geneseo and the radio replacment fiasco), but they have this service area cafe for you to wait in. free coffee, and water, and then other food to buy. it was real nice in there, and air conditioned lol. and they didn’t think “ooooh a girl, she doesn’t know shit about cars, let’s replace a bunch of crap to make some money” so i’m happy.
i had this wacko dream about Akasha from the vampire chronicals. like, i was lestat and i had the power to wake her and stuff. and then there was this whole part about moving out of geneseo again, but i lived with my research group. which reminds me i should send beth her money. she never got back to me if a check is ok, and now i forget how much i have to send her. if only people would use my real email address and not my school one anymore i wouldn’t have this problem.
trying to find out tool information still. i just sent tickets.com mean feedback about how much their site sucks, and how i’m so tired of them. and that i thought ticketmaster was bad. hahah. no info about the hamilton show still. i forgot to go to tops yesterday to see if they know anything, and i’m real happy that the 2 DJs at 103.3 that i emailed got back to me too 😛 cuz they’re so busy.
for those who care and didn’t hear. the NHL took over the Sabres. they’re talking to groups from buffalo who would keep the team in buffalo, to buy it. so that’s good. i think. hahah
there are some giantic crows across the street. i think they’re the biggest crows i’ve ever seen. they haven’t been a real big nussiance to me in the morning yet. i don’t think i’ve heard them at all. at least i haven’t wanted to buy a blow gun yet. but all the little birds have been waking me up every morning at 4. just like today. i can’t fall asleep til 2 ish, cuz i sleep in so long (cuz i can’t fall asleep til 2ish), and then get woken up at 4. i have this problem where i fall asleep but don’t know i’m asleep, so i don’t feel rested. the pretentious phd i interviewed with at the sleep lab told me about it. it’s the main problem with insomnia, he’s found. the people really are sleeping, but their brain waves don’t let them know they’ve fallen asleep. so they report having not slept. well that happened last night. 4:15 the birds woke me up and i thought i had still been up since i got into bed at midnight. but i knew it couldn’t really be possible that i was still awake 4 hours later. whatever.
i’m so friggen bored. and hot. and in a bad mood. sorta. i dunno. i don’t know what to wear to the show tomorrow, cuz it’s gonna be hot and possibly rain. i don’t want to be uncomfortable, but i’m going to end up that way. arg. i hate arizona’s.
i guess i’m going to the continental with nate tonight. he gets out of work at 10:30. this will be interesting. i wish i had better clothes.
