ug.

was pissed when i got to work yesterday cuz the retarded bus from the parking lot almost making us all late. not getting into it tho. frustrating tho. then i’m on my game and i get tapped off to open the table next to me. was supposed to be a private table for…some ppl….who ended up not showing up. but the potential was there for me to have this really exciting night haha. apparently the ppl requested me. it was weird. i told the ppl to come play with me again, next time, when the others actually show haha…

cable guy came this morning. apparently it is the router. cuz it’s so not working anymore. laptop plugged into the modem works, plugged into the router, no worky…my comp…not a chance in hell of working. trying to downgrade the upgrade i did which prompted all the screwyness…and eric is gonna come by monday again to look at shit.

went to allentown art festival. didn’t buy anything, but made some contacts for the book. yay.

got my bowie show in the mail today. irritated that the radio broadcast didn’t play all the songs, but it’s so good. hehe. good quality from radio of course, and i forgot how good bowie sounded. still…my fav songs aren’t included. bah.

one other irritation…the way the schedule is done at work it doesn’t follow the pay period…so the way our week ends, i technically only had 1 day off this week, and got 7 hrs of overtime yesterday. but that means i have 3 days off on the next pay period…i was gonna try to give away one of my days off to get overtime, and now i’ll only be giving it away to get myself back up to 40 hrs…ug. dunno which day tho yet…i gotta get my car inspected the one day, and i need a photo inspection for my insurance and crap…

headache. cute bowie. haha

 

ok do you know what is really annoying? these pop up ads that come through XP…and i don’t know why. i thought they were coming through the newest version of AIM but i went back to 4.8 on adrs laptop and they still keep coming? wtf…how do i stop them? they weren’t doing it til today…

ok so whatever the problem is seems to have pretty much worked itself out. i changed some settings with the router that eric had disabled, but i don’t think that made any difference. used adr’s laptop to see if a wire-full (haha) connection worked, she had less problems then i was having on wireless. but she was still getting disconnected. just not every minute (literally)…seems to have fixed itself at the moment, i guess it was an adelphia problem.

tony came over tonight, the 3 of us went to perkins to eat…so high class now. it’s weird. if it’s 24 hrs (i didn’t notice) it’s just not the same anymore. but a blast from the past – an old dennys waiter (the hot one) – works at perkins now lol. ended up hanging out there for a while, then went to deedees for desert then back here for the last 7 hours lol. it was a good time. lots of shop talk haha, lots of good conversation. fun times.

however in showing tony my website i realized MT has left every post since i switched to MT on the main blog page…so since mid/end april, with all the password posts and talk of “the situation”…gotta see how to fix that. i’m sure it’s just a setting i missed somewhere. *update* ok i don’t know what the problem is, cuz the setting says “show 7 days worth of posts”…and yeah i see tons…wtf…

so now when i wake up i gotta go get more b&w film and do laundry before work at 9. allentown art festival sat with eric tiff and adr…terminal tour sunday. as i put it at dinner “if i could physically have a wet dream the terminal tour would be it”…tony and adr got a kick out of that hahah.

omg me and tony are such dorks. we had an extended conversation and got excited about my graphing calculator hahahah.

and oh yeah. this may not be news to anyone but…marilyn manson is not playing the buffalo ozzfest. i had wondered about it because various sites didn’t list him on the list for buffalo…but i didn’t know why. then adr said she heard ppl protested about him playing here (grow up, that was so 3 years ago), but thought it might have been resolved. i emailed bull @ 103.3 and asked if he knew anything. he said manson’s not playing, it’s an off day for him and he’s using it for whatever reason. so whatever…very disappointed. i’m never gonna fucking see that band.

and oh yeah. bono is a friggen lyrical genius. i’m gonna be macphisto for halloween. gotta start preparing now haha.

 

there is no point on me being online, because again, can’t stay connected to the net for longer than a minute at a time.

someone needs to fix this.

 

called adelphia for help with my connection. seems like it may be a modem problem. the guy had me hook the lap top right to the modem, he ran tests, he had me reset it, things weren’t working right. so they’re sending someone tomorrow morning. yay…cuz i dont work til 5 tonight. whatever. that hinders the allentown plans tho…but whatever. my comp is hopeless to get a connection now, so atm the laptop is connected right to the modem.

i had weird dreams about john again.

i really really fucking hate adelphia.

ok so…with the wireless network there had been a problem where if my comp was idle for long periods of time (eg at work, overnight) i’d lose connection to the net. so in an attempt to fix that, the entire network broke and i had no connection til eric came over today to fix it.

so it’s fixed…and i don’t lose the wireless connection, but i seem to lose connection about every minute…but i’m thinking it’s an adelphia problem and not a problem on my end.

anyway…ok wow this is so incredibly annoying it’s not even funny.

work was fine. off today. tony’s supposed to call at some point so we can hang out tonight. the grand island kid called today, wanted to do something but i said i had plans so he’s gonna call next week some time. i was going to do laundry today but i guess i’ll just do it tomorrow. i need to go to blvd mall to buy b&w film from the camera shop there. i don’t know if theres a place i can get it out this way.

this is REALLY REALLY fucking annoying. now i can’t even keep a connection for more than a minute before it goes out again. all the lights are working on the modem so WTF. you know, everything was fucking peachy with my computer til i had to go and get new shit to make everquest work. i currently can’t sign on to my primary screenname cuz i get the “you’re attempting to sign on too quickly” message even when i wait, and the net goes out and comes back.

and i fucking have a headache now.

work was pretty good. i was on roulette. score! 2 days in a row…well for most of the night. i was sent to send a girl on blackjack home, 2 minutes after that i was tapped off to go to pit 3…….did blackjack in pit 3 for an hour. terry added me to “the list”…the exclusive list of dealers who are good enough, and therefore allowed to deal in pit 3. so that was pretty rad. then they closed my table so it was back to assist in roulette, where i got hit on by a boy from grand island who knows nate. he wants to take me out. don’t tell my mom  lol. he goes to NU and works at olive garden LOL i was like, “i was there last week”…he’s like, “do you like it?” i’m like no HAHA. he’s like me neither, people are 50/50 on it, i get both – but i’d never take a date there” lol

it’s really fucking hot in here. tomorrow i’m gonna try to go to menes with amanda to buy some plants. yep. then work 7-3 again.

 

k don’t know if i mentioned this, but…this girl i know who i call “chief wiggum” cuz she looks like chief wiggum on the simpsons…got married… …i knew she WAS getting married, to a man she met on the internet who lives in nigeria…but i didn’t know that this trip she took to see him was the trip to actually get married. roflmao. this is hilarious. and completely repulsive  …cuz those of you who know who i’m talking about already wonder WHO FUCKS THAT?!!!!?!?!!!!?!?!?!?!?!??????!!!!!!!!!? i guess it puts the faith back into me and all my friends that we will find partners in the future if SHE can get married (albeit to a nigerian she met on the internet)…

my brain feels detached from the things that hold it in place in my skull. blah. don’t like it.

adr is here now. came home and her car was here, and furniture was moved lol.

eric came over and set up the wireless network today, so i’m all spiffified now. seems to work just fine. my comp is another story tho. couldnt get on everquest last night, just went black and never loaded the game…gotta figure that out sometime.

toilet is broken again…back to running every 2 minutes. called the land lord and left a message for him.

trying to do the car insurance thing, going with geico cuz its the cheapest. i don’t get the big differences between companies…cuz geico was 500 for 6 months, progressive was 600 for 6 months, then aig which i have now was 1400 for 6 months…?!?! don’t get it.

ran some errands today, but still forgot to mail my rebates. oh well. parents should be here any minute to finally bring my file cabinet and take back their vaccuum and crap.

made reservations for my central terminal tour on sunday (and the 2 other dates). i didn’t realize it’s a 2 hour long tour…gives me lots of time to explore…legally …i’m taking my dad’s pictures with me cuz i want to try to “retake” them…to see the destruction and everything. gah i’m so excited. there is the psych center tour on saturday, but i’m not sure if i’m going to go. since it’s not an internal tour…i can go walk around any time by myself. and there are another 8 dates for that tour that i can go to. i wonder if they fixed the hole in the fence hehe…

they demolished the pondarosa on meadow…wonder what’s gonna go in there. there were rumors 2 years ago when ppl randomly put curbs into the ames parkinglot, that it was going to be a dennys. not like it matters now, since i’m within walking distance of dennys

tony is coming over thursday. gonna help me move furniture and crap. prolly get dinner or something.

i had to buy a daily planner thing cuz i need to keep track of the hours i work. but of course all of them are 2004. just cuz it’s june doesn’t mean that people don’t still need daily planners for 2003. and who the hell buys a 2004 one when it’s 6 months away? i ended up finding a 03/04 one, ugly, but it works.

that whole “sleeping the whole day away thing”…yeah. didn’t happen. i submitted a request on some site, to look for car insurance. you enter info, they send it to a bunch of diff companies. some insurance lady called at 9 fucking 30 am. then she had to call back after she checked my credit rating. thanks. then landlord called at 1:30 to ask about the toilet running, cuz apparently the people upstairs told him it was constantly running LOL. so he had parts to put in, came by to do that…so yeah no sleep. tried to take a nap after he left, for about an hour, but that was unsatisfactory. then the toilet was leaking…had to get him back in to fix it again. he thought he fixed it, but before i left for work it was leaking again. will have to check it out when he calls about it tomorrow….it didn’t leak too much while i was gone, so maybe it sealed itself or whatever.

i don’t think anyone expected the ducks to hang on in the finals, but they’ve certainly made the series interesting. it would be wonderful if they won game 7. new jersey doesn’t need another stanley cup. share a bit, will ya?

i owe james so much at work. twice he’s gotten me off my let it ride table. although i was stuck on it for 6 hours today, he got me off and onto roulette for a bit, then some blackjack and i went home early. let it ride just sucks. period. you take everyones money, and they complain that the cards are crap..it’s like…when do you realize YOU DON’T WIN IN THIS GAME!! lol. someone asked me if it sucks to have to deal it, cuz it’s so monotenous (sp? i know)… and i’m like yep. i hate it. lol.

i have a few 7pm starts next week, which should, hopefully, be roulette. then i have thursday and sunday off…?? maybe sunday will be ikea day or something  i need to find a reason to buy the cool modular mirror there. i’m not seeing a spot to hang it though…oh well.

twin peaks update…18 of (i think) 32 episodes downloaded so far. can’t start watching them til i finish getting the pilot episode. but not like it matters i guess, since i’m expecting the usual lynch-ness of nothing making sense. lol.

i’m a retard. this whole past month ive been waiting for danielle’s birthday gift to arrive and i’m like wtf is it?!?! well i never placed the friggen order. bah lol so now i ordered it and it should come relatively soon…only over a month late. whatever.

making progress on the lynch downloads. got the toronto lacuna coil show. totally different setlist than the buffalo show. wish i could have gone. oh well.

bought my wireless stuff, someones gotta come set it up tho i’m not touchin it hehe.

i dunno what i’m gonna eat for dinner. blah. i hate cooking.

1. since my comp was upgraded a few weeks ago, it pauses everytime something on it has to make a noise…even just clicking a link, and it makes that click sound, it pauses. and it’s really friggen irritating.

2. i’m trying to download all the episodes of twin peaks. this will only take me about 2 years.

3. getting bowie’s area 2 toronto show from last summer. yay.

4. eat and bed. it’s 6:30am

work was interesting. got bounced around a bit. finally got to see the nonsmoking room. it’s pretty nice in there. i wasn’t prepared for the brightness of the table lights tho, and i kept getting a nasty glare off the peek window, and the stack markers.

got amanda and i tix to the dave gahan show in toronto in july. they are a bit more expensive than i was figuring on (more than seeing depeche mode at molson amp) but whatever. tried to download his album, but man…when you get 30 copies of the same song looped, it gets frustrating. i’ve found about half of the album in real songs. everything else, no matter the name of the file, is his first single looped. ah well.

i work at 10 tomorrow. ug. that is such a sucky shift, cuz it’s very light out when you leave. gotta find something to do with myself tomorrow. maybe i’ll try to arrange the living room or something. and i must, MUST, get car insurance tomorrow. and maybe go to the dmv if i can find it.

 

hfs!!! fishy and i are one giant step closer to our book. she contacted a PR person for the hospital, and found out there are boxes of pictures we can have access to!!! still working on getting inside ourselves, but we are one huge step closer. sooooooooo excited

and fucking adelphia. i turn my comp on today, and it is completely fucked up. when the menu bar is loading, it suddenly disappears and recreates the top half of my screen in the bottom half. tiny little mouse cursor, totally fucked. so i freak out, try to run a virus scan, but it keeps freezing. then i realized, maybe its something in my start menu screwing up… yep. deleted adelphia’s stupid esupport program, and voila, it works again. fucking adelphia.

hello hello. i am now online once again, thanks to 50 feet of coaxial cable wire. or whatever it’s called. definitely going to have to go wireless at some point, because wires stretched from the far wall, through the living room, through the hall, and into my room is not gonna cut it once we get organized and everything. the closer of the 2 cable jacks isn’t hooked up to anything…had to use the far one. spectacular. but i’m on, and i’m happy, so…it’ll do for now. i looked at wireless equipment last night, gonna be a big chunk of change, but whatever. probably the way to go in the long run.

so yeah…had the last 2 days off so nothing much to report. had my date last night. we went to the olive garden…haha yeah, go ahead and laugh. i did. it wasn’t awful, but it’s just the principle of me going to the olive garden. it was a decent time. he said *i* have to call him for next time. i’m like, i seriously never use the phone lol. we’ll see.

got bored enough here with no internet that i set up my tv/vcr/dvd and dug out popmart concert to watch the past 2 nights. i bought a photo album at walmart and organized all my pictures since summer 1999. i’m missing some, but no clue where they’d be since i have everything from my room here now. oh well.

i spent 70$ on groceries and i still have no food. i don’t get it. and if i defrost my 2lbs of hamburger do i have to cook it all at once? or can i refreeze it? i probably should cook it all. adr needs to get her ass moved in so she can cook for me

so i guess i’m gonna get my ass moving and shower etc, cuz i work at 7 tonight. either roulette or in the non smoking room…
