i know i say this annually, and multiple times a season, but i hate christmas music. it is my personal hell. and right now, i have mariah carey’s big xmas song stuck in my head. i seriously want to shoot myself.
i have a serious problem with my shoulder. it has been awful painfull all day long. i switched to get onto caribbean stud tonight, so i wouldn’t have to deal out of a shoe with so many repetitive motions. managed to stay there for 5 hours, and while it still wasn’t pleasant it was better. but of course, got sent to bacc in high limit at 1 anyway. was dead for a while but of course that didn’t last very long. gah. after 4 painkillers its not as bad as it was this afternoon but we’ll see how tomorrow is. there’s really nothing i can do except drugs.
anyway. went on the hotel tour. and i’ll take back some of what i said about how it looks. the hotel is actually pretty nice. the casino floor still is hideous, but the lobby is looking nicer as they keep adding more stuff that wasn’t finished for the opening…the neon columns aren’t so neon now that they put these texture things over them. they’ve added plants, and signage. there are also 2 water walls that are not quite running yet but we’re being tested while i was there this afternoon. got to see 2 types of the guest rooms…a corner suite, which was pretty nice, and a standard room. floor to ceiling windows, 42″ plasma tvs, nice cushy beds, huge walk in showers, jacuzzies along the windows of the suites. pretty high class if you ask me. definitely the best thing you can get in the falls that’s for sure. the hallways of the floors are really nice, alot of really pretty wood work. there is a whole hallway that will have some stores, and meeting rooms etc. and there is a decoration pattern they are using in this hallway, that i swear to god is on the outside of the terminal. i gotta look through my pictures. so yeah. it’ll definitely be a nice resort once everything is finished.
tony and i went to dinner at this really nice place in canada which was expensive even in canadian but he got half off, and paid for it, so that was nice. dropped into the old casino cuz he wanted to see what the caribbean jackpot was up to (365,000). didn’t play tho. i gave him my only 5$ canadian to play pai gow with, and we split the 30$ profit hahaha.
tomorrow is groceries and whatever else. need to go by cingular and bitch about my bill, possibly change carriers (tho no one else is any better), and go to my dentist for them to explain why i owe 80 some dollars when my insurance thing said it was covered and that i owed 3.
