a few days ago on the news there was a story about a woman who was found murdered along the bike path in clarence. and everyone is like ooo our town is so dangerous, because there had been past rape/murders along a bike path in amherst, and the news was saying it may be the same person striking again. the first thing i said, was that her husband killed her and dumped her on the bike path. it’s on forensic files all the time. well my mom called and said she thinks i’m right – cuz now the husband isn’t releasing the womans truck to police for evidence collection, there were no keys on the woman when she was found, and they think she was killed someplace else and brought to the bike path. GO ME! hahaha

i had to get up at 9:30 to start my gaming license renewal procedure. which meant, sit in a room with 5 complete morons while the gaming woman tells us that our 30 page application will mostly be just writing “no change” in every box. but of course, that’s too simple, and these fucking retards just couldn’t get it right. question after stupid question. JUST FUCKING LISTEN TO HER and/or read the goddamn question! how fucking hard is it?! my god pissed me off so much. it’s just such a waste of my time which could have been spent sleeping, and not having to listen to this other moron dealer who likes to tell everyone everything about him – such as the fact that he lives with his mother who declared bankruptcy and how he didn’t know if he was required to write down that he lived with someone who was bankrupt. FUCKING SHUT UP!
then i had to get finger printed again. and oh, that was flippen fantastic too. how hard is it to fill out a form with your name, address, stats, etc and wait for the cop to finger print you? but no, i filled my forms out, after having been the last one to arrive, and was printed first. because I CAN READ and filled out the form correctly the first time, unlike the rest of them.
sometimes i think it IS the water around here…but then how did i end up so smart? haha
so i’m up and awake and have absolutely nothing to do. it’s a nice day i feel like i should go out shooting but i don’t want to go by myself. i’ll probably sit here all day again. i have to take my renewal application to get notarized but beyond that…
my head almost exploded on the bus to work tonight. lucky me had the ignorant bus driver and i was the only one on the bus for a good 5 min as he listened to the news on the radio. they were discussing Foley and his improper behavior toward young boy pages. The busdriver said it was “the Clinton thing all over again.”

apparently i entered a contest and won 2 tickets to something…my phone is such shit i couldnt hear the message, so i don’t know what they’re for and i don’t remember entering. it may have been something on mytvbuffalo but i really can’t remember what it was for LOL. (i looked at the website and i think the tickets are for the frightworld haunted houses)

so i have a new camera, thanks to circuit city’s financing with no interest until january 2008. and their current offer to include a 2 gig sd card for free. and i gave in and bought the nikon bag combo cuz it came with an extra battery and uv filter and cuz i’d need a new bag anyway, the lands end purse just wasn’t going to cut it anymore. gah so much $. i guess that’s the end of me shooting film. i have a few rolls left i feel obligated to use, but i’ll probably just do some experiments with them, and be done with it.
sorry for 3 posts but this has to be said…something my dad pointed out (he heard it from somewhere else). we have headlines like these:

and then we hear from multiple sources that we’re now worse off than we were pre 9-11…this administration is undermining the Constitution and international law for what…in reality and put into historical perspective, how much of a threat are we really under? how much damage can a terrorist attack do? even worst case scenario, a dirty bomb, how many would die? yes, 3000 dead on 9-11 is terrible, it really is. but during the cold war we faced nuclear annihilation, a much, MUCH worse threat, yet no administration during that time undermined the Constitution to protect the country. yes the threat of mutual assured destruction prevented a nuclear conflict between the US and USSR but the chance of it happening got very very close at times (Cuban Missile Crisis to name one, there were many others). much closer than the threat of another terrorist attack, with a much much worse consequence. the government didn’t secretly spy on us then, and they didn’t torture suspects. i long for the days of the Cold War, or when the most we had to worry about was who was blowing the president.

there is reason to believe that the sattler theatre was used as a mosque of the Nation of Islam. there were records of attendance from 69 and 70, the first page labled as Muhammed’s Mosque of Islam No 23. do you think looking up info on the Nation of Islam will set of red flags in the white house spy rooms? i know nothing about the Nation of Islam except Louis Farrakhan. does it even have anything to do with the Islamic faith? (apparently it does) i just want to know if there are records to confirm that the theatre was a mosque of NoI…I found an excel spreadsheet online that lists Mosque 23 being at 512 Broadway, a different address…another website on buffalo churches list Mosque 23 being at 512 broadway, but it has now moved to 5 walden ave, and there is no longer a building at 512…next time i go down to the terminal I’ll have to stop in and see if they have any info on the old mosque.
to make things more confusing, i noticed in my exterior picture that the address actually ON the builing is 512 broadway not 516 broadway, putting the Mosque at the theatre. still gonna confirm at the current mosque if possible.

anyway this reminds me, when i got us lost in the ghetto yesterday cuz i went the wrong way on the 33 we found THE best church ever. HOLY GHOST TEMPLE FLAMING FIRE MINISTRIES (the caps come straight from what i c&ped on their website http://www.webspawner.com/users/holyghosttemple/). what a great name for a church. god i’d LOVE to go to a service there if i didn’t think i’d get mugged before or after. they have a fabulous logo too. unfortunately it’s not on the website. for school chris has to participate in a racially uncomfortable situation, i said he should go to a service there. i need some fellow heretics to go with me one day hahaha.
