ups came today and i got my sd card. and the packaging is nothing i’ve seen before, so it proves that i didn’t receive it and just completely forget hahah. and it was in one of those indestructible plastic bubble wrap envelopes. so i’ve revised my theory of what happened to the first one to be…it got ran over by a snow blower…that’s all i can really think of.
drury is out indefinitely with a possible concussion….arg. move the amerks to the aud, so they can be close by and ready.
i made myself arm warmers today since i lost mine during the nov 05 tour. and they’re velvet. woo hahah. now do i silk screen red year zero symbols onto them to be a complete nerd or not…
so i think the first time bestbuy shipped my sd card order it got stolen…or something. when i went outside today, with the snow melted, there was part of a packaging for a 2gb sd card in front of the garage. so either my neighbor stole it and was careless in getting rid of the packaging…or…someone ran it over, covered in snow in the driveway – most likely me. but it was just the packaging and not the actual card. it snowed again, so now i can’t look harder for the actual card to see if it would possibly still work. ups claims it is scheduled for delivery tomorrow, and they better not be retards and leave it outside in the snow without putting a note on the door to let me know to look for it.
in the hysteria of the hockey game i forgot to mention, i have an appt on the 1st for my halo14 tattoo. i took some fonts i liked to carls and one of the guys josh is going to draw something up for me.

good god. the buffalo ottawa game tonight was THE best game i have ever been to. dear lord what a ridiculous game. if you don’t know anything about hockey, or don’t care, you can skip this post….
absolutely ridiculous. it was my last regular season game, and i really was expecting the usual boring game vs ottawa. after the 1st period it looked like it. we get into the 2nd, and vanek scores 2 goals. then suddenly, drury is on the ice bleeding, alot. stafford went after neil who apparently had done the damage. and the drury thing was so so scary because he’s on the ice bleeding, tried to get up, and fell over. so scary. he walked off the ice, so, phew. next face off, lindy sent out all the goons, peters, mair and a new guy brought up to fill in for whoever last got hurt. puck drops and peters goes after someone, head locks him to the ice. so everyone’s going nuts and suddenly everyone on the ice is fighting. then we notice biron and emery going toward eachother. goalie fight!! it was absolutely ridiculous. so biron is getting beat, they’re finally separated and peters goes after emery and kicks his ass. dear lord. what seemed like hours later, the officials get everything settled, peters gets ejected, which was expected. then they ejected biron AND emery! LOL when play finally resumed miller and gerber were in the nets, peters and mair had instigating penalties (so a 5 on 3), and buffalo had 8 players on the bench – most of them from rochester! ridiculous is the only word i can use to describe it. the crowd was nuts, everyone was on their feet yelling for a good 10 minutes. my voice is shot, my hands hurt so bad from clapping. just unbelievable. ottawa managed to tie it at 5, we go to overtime, and then to a shootout that went to 4 shooters. this game had everything! finally got to see a shoot out, it was awesome. best. game. ever. so exciting. 110 minutes in penalties.
so after game interviews – biron was hilarious, as always, talking and talking. when asked how he thought he did he said, i held on for dear life, and didn’t get hit in the face. hahahahahahah emery’s interview was pretty good i thought, he didn’t talk trash about the whole thing, like ottawa’s coach did, he was honest. he said it’s a part of hockey, to stick up for your players, and how ottawa’s coach has probably done the same thing as lindy in the past, and how it’s healthy for the game. i thought it was pretty good. ottawa’s coach thinks buffalo deserves suspensions, and lindy said he was proud of his team and how they responded.
the guys who sit next to us called people during the whole thing to find out about drury and the fight. he found out that apparently lindy ruff was yelling to the ottawa bench “if you’re gonna fucking take out my captain i’m going to fucking kill you” LOL
all phill and i could say was, dear lord if this was against toronto half of the audience would have been ejected too. luckily there didn’t seem to be many ottawa fans in the crowd, so we didn’t see any fan fights, but we really weren’t paying attention to the fans hehe
but we have yet another injured player. that brings the total up to 7 injuries in the last 6 games. again, ridiculous.
so anyone looking to see this, it was #1 on sportscenter, and i’ll be searching youtube for it (nothing yet). i want to hear jenneret’s call hahah (it was just on the radio, so fabulous!). oh you can watch highlights on espn.com, emery is smiling and laughing through the whole fight. in his interview he did say he thought it was fun.

alright so on jan 27th i ordered a new SD card from bestbuy cuz they were on sale. and i haven’t gotten it. looking at the tracking info from UPS they claim it was delivered on jan 31. well i don’t have it. so i contacted best buy and they said they’d send me another one. except now it’s backordered. great. i guess i won’t have an extra SD card for europe. of course i could call their customer service and see if i can just pick it up at the store, but that requires using the telephone. eh maybe tomorrow.

there is nothing more satisfying than surveillance supporting you in an argument with a player. ug. got into a ridiculous fight with a player last night, who was trying to pull a shot on me. there was lots of yelling, and in the end, i was right – as i knew i was – and he had to accept that he’s a loser asshole. 🙂

if anyone has wondered about my default icon, it’s buster and his traumatizing incident in a photo booth from the tv show Arrested Development. james had brought season 1 dvds over a few times when we were all still friends, and the show was amusing but we never ended up watching all of them. they’re now playing on cbc after simpsons, so i watch it every day and we’re into the 2nd season i think. what an underrated show. you’re watching and you really don’t realize how funny it is until after. very intelligent, and usually incredibly absurd. like having michael and his niece maebey sing kareoke to “afternoon delight”…you really don’t think anything of it until they’re singing and both realize the entire song is about sex. LOL the writers did such a good job coming up with hilarious things people wouldn’t think of. anyway. love the show. buster has now had his hand bitten off by a seal. LOL. he actually reminds me of james sometimes hahah sorry. wish the show hadn’t been cancelled. i read something that showtime picked it up but i don’t know if that was true or not.
oh and i think it’s hilarious that britney spears has shaved her head hahahah
work has changed the radio from the 80s station to the 90s station. it’s like one big middle school dance now. seriously, they play songs i haven’t heard in 15 years. and it’s fantastic.
ok i must have watched vh1s one hit wonders count down a million times, but just now payed attention to the fact that soft cell’s tainted love is a cover….haha i had no clue.
