work was boring. i missed the new years fun being stuck in the high limit room. the party seemed killer, way cool effects and decorations and stuff. adr and kristen stopped by and i got to talk to them on my break. only had one game on our table all night, managed to get out a half hour early. got a glow necklace too. and after so many times of the “i’m hungry” “me too i want breakfast” “ok good night” conversation between rocco and i, we finally went and got breakfast after work. i guess it took me actually saying the “so you wanna get breakfast?” line for it to happen. talked about work of course.

and the biggest news is. i think i got promoted. i say “think” cuz i’m really not sure. hah. i knew for a few weeks that i had been nominated for it, and been nominated by quite a few people. the shift manager stopped me today and asked “Are you interested in the dual-rate floor supervisor position?” i said yes, and he said ok. and that was it. LOL but apparently thats what he said to others who got promoted tonight, so i take it to be a good sign.

and the other good news is the sabres scored 7 goals tonight ROFL.

i forgot one of my new years resolutions in my last post: i will not be stupid with boys.

according to the hotjobs salary calculator “The median expected salary for a typical Gambling Dealer/Attendant in Niagara Falls, NY 14304, is $15,781” and lets just say i made way more than that. that’s like 7.50 an hour. i’m not sure how that can possibly be calculated right. it claims the national average as only 16,149, and the vegas average as 17,021. that’s completely insane.
