so i set up my home theatre system. it wasn’t very hard. until the whole, connecting every other 209834 appliances i have part. i got the dvd player to work in surround, but not the tv or vcr. i couldn’t get the cable to work either, but then i realized i didn’t connect the vcr to the cable box. so i have tv now, but not surround. from the looks of the picture in the manual i need audio cables from the tv to dvd player. do i need audio cables for the vcr too? or is connecting the vcr to the tv enough to get the vcr to be in surround? anyone know? help! haha

of course, the test dvd is the live nin dvd. and it’s fantastic

i need to buy a few more throw rugs, i bid on a new shower curtain on ebay that i’ll need a new bathroom rug to match, and curtain hooks. i better win damnit. it’s so rad.

and then next is working on getting the modular furniture for my room or other new bedroom furniture. target has these rad modular furniture cubes called qbits. you buy different types of cubes separately, and put them together to make a wall unit or computer desk or whatever you want. some have doors, some have drawers, some are just shelves. i want to make something so i can get rid of my dresser, and washstand. and maybe even my book shelf. the only problem…each cube is sorta expensive, so it might end up being more to do the cube thing than to buy actual new furniture. so i gotta play around in photoshop and see what kind of arrangement i want, and how much it’ll cost.
