ok so i haven’t blogged in like 4 days. i still have nothing to say. i figured i’d check in for the holiday to assure any of my faithful readers that i am, indeed, alive. i don’t have a reason for my hiatus except that i’ve had nothing to say.

work: 2 nights on bacc, last night i did absolutely nothing the entire time, then we closed the game. tonight i worked at 7, figured i’d have roulette, ended up not even being on the schedule, and getting pai gow. still haven’t found out about “the thing” yet.

xmas: xmas with the parents today. got my furniture, and my new monitor which indeed wont fit on my desk. dad has to create some kind of rig for the desk. sucks. i just want a new desk LOL. got my great great grandmothers super rad art deco diamond ring, i just have to get it sized now. finally got a black velvet blazer. and 2 more black blazer/jackets. it seems that my dad has suddenly gone totally grey. i don’t know when this happened, but i noticed tonight. he’d make a good santa…except he’s not fat.

life: i’m reading “tale of two cities” and tho i will forever hate charles dickens, i will admit…there are some really amazing lines of prose in there. i read before bed, when the comp is sleeping for the night, and then i forget the lines i wanted to post. oh well.

the reason i hate xmas music: there are about 20 xmas songs, just sang over and over and over again by 19823487 different artists. i really don’t need to hear the 45,033rd version of “Winter Wonderland”. and no, they do not know it’s christmas time at all BECAUSE THEY’RE NOT CHRISTIAN!

t-minus 6 hours til i have to wake up and drive to detroit.  it will again, be an experience.

so merry christmas to everyone. i should come back from 2 days in detroit with more sit-com like stories. at least that’s what i’m hoping for. paying attention for good things to blog keeps me from going crazy. good night.
