another super saturday night in high limit blackjack. myyyy favourite.

today was highly uneventful. i sat home til work since i got up so late. i think i need to actually leave the house tomorrow and do some shopping. and get gas. cuz i have zero.

i finished “geek love” the other day. definitely a twisted story. very cool though. i liked it. it’s not really like anything i’ve ever read before. just, the story, plot, characters…very different and creative. i liked it. and it was about circus freaks…!!! there are some weird coincidences…like chucky p talks about the book and author in “fugitives and refugees”…there is a character in the book called the bag man. he wears veils and things around his face cuz he shot it off with a rifel…much like…er exactly like, the main character of “invisible monsters”…i wonder if that was delibrate on chucky p’s part.

now i think i’ll try the other book of the chucky p-esque author that carolyn gave me for whatever holiday. it’s called “crash”. i think it’s actually a novel, and not a collection of short stories like the other one i wasn’t terribly fond of or impressed by. i’ve got so many books to read.

i was talking to the guy who told me i looked like anime, the same day brian sent me the link to that cartoon site cuz the character looked like me. he said i should seriously look into a lawsuit LOL. i’m like um…it’s not like on seinfeld when the mannequins looked exactly like elaine. he says he knows a really good laywer, this guy who represents the googoo dolls and other artists in the area, and charges 500$ an hour if you win the case, who would sue the cartoon ppl for me LOL. maybe if i need some cash i’ll look into it hahah. i could pay off all my school loans haha.

 

it’s official. i’ve gotten the summer cold. my throat hurts like a mofo.

i’ve read 15 pages of “crash” and it’s already the most fucked up thing i’ve ever read. so far, the main premise is getting sexually aroused from car crashes. great. i’m so biased towards this author cuz of the “war fever” book, that i have a feeling i’m not going to like this book. and i don’t think i’d ever like to know the author in real life. i’m getting the impression he’s a bit of a wack job. oh well.

off to walmart and stuff

 

both heather and carolyn complained to me that they’re not getting emails. it seems i’ve now been afflicted too. i don’t think i’m getting everything i should be getting, so if someone wrote to me and i haven’t answered…that’s why. i haven’t gotten it. i also can’t seem to send any email today, through adelphia’s mail servers…i can through icenine webmail.

and speaking of icenine, my business cards finally arrived. yay. i’m a professional now.

i can’t go to walmart without spending tons of money. i went to buy some face meds, a barbie doll, and a congrats card for latitia’s new baby. i ended up buying a comforter set, and speakers for my comp. and FUCK i forgot to use my coupon on the face meds. the comforter is black and white with chinese symbols and dragons on it. i liked the red chinese red one my mom tried to order for me, but was discontinued, so this will do for now. it was only 40$ and it comes with pillow shams and dust ruffle. i didn’t buy the sheets, cuz i am just gonna use the red sheets. step one in trying to have a completely black and white (and red) bedroom. i also got a cheap 3 ring binder, and some velveteen fabric (to use with all our pleather fabric we bought for pillow making), to make a nice cool album to show my photos at the fundraiser. hooray for me.

i wonder if my new speakers will work with my sub…same company. since i dunno what part of my current speaker system is broken, maybe i can still use the sub with these new speakers…ah the return of sound. looking at my sub maybe the fuse went…then i wasted 15 bux on these new speakers lol.
