i think it’s kinda funny that bonton offered me a 2000$ credit limit on the store credit card when i told them i was unemployed. i wonder how much they give to people who are employed hahah. i almost EVER shop at bonton. but hey it got me 5$ off my purchase today. once i pay it i’ll cancel the card.

i forgot how much i hate driving in niagara falls. tourists. blah. apparently when you’re on vacation normal traffic rules don’t apply. i went to the duty free shop in canada. when you’re approaching the bridge to canada, there is a sign with a big arrow that says DUTY FREE…so i tried to go that way, to the US duty free. and no there isn’t one. so wtf. i had to pay to cross the bridge to spend 2 minutes in the duty free store. whatever. then i went and applied for a job at hard rock. i was filling out the application at the bar, and the bartender was like, why doesn’t anyone want to bartend (cuz he looked at what i put down for position). i was like, i would but i don’t know how. he’s like that’d be a problem, but we need 1 more female bartender. he was cute. *signs up for bartending lessons* haha jk. but yeah. at least it’s a job for now. it’d be cool if they just gave me a job in the retail store instead of waitressing. but then i wouldn’t get tips. whatever. any job would be fine with me for now, as long as it wasn’t cooking. cuz i don’t know how to cook real food, and if i’m going to spend my time in a hot kitchen i’ll go back to mcdonalds, instead of driving all the way to the falls to do it.

so next up in my busy schedule…lol. i made an appointment for my inspection, it’s on friday. they better not try to sell me crap for my car. that’s all i know.

tonights adventures: eric and i headed out to canada to get tea party tickets. so that took us to arizona’s in thorold. with nothing better to do, we went to get lost in st catherines, with the intent of finding a walmart. and indeed we did, only after finding a Giant Tiger discount/department store (a really small version of kmart) where i almost bought a pair of green dickies for about 15$ US, and a closed thrift store. from there we attempted to find a mall, which is how we ended up finding the sought after walmart. went in, looked for cheap cds that would be imports on this side of the border (but what i wanted was still too much $). eric found some cd for 5$. then we decided to head home on the QEW, which we didn’t end up taking because the onramp was closed and the detour took us back to the 406, which was where we had started after we left arizona’s. and instead of just going back to niagara falls, we decided to go to Fort Erie to find a walmart there, which we didn’t find. Took the peace bridge back to the states, went to mcds for some food, and then home. we went exactly 100 miles. isn’t that interesting. lol. while we were in canada we saw some great signs.
1. The Canadian Martyr School – first off, who was the canadian martyr? and only in canada can you go to school to become a martyr hehe
2. “pedestrians: beware of cars exiting driveways” – duh
3. no left turn on red – duh

so tomorrows projects are, go buy sequins, get gas since my tank is on E, and clean the inside and outside of my car. think i can accomplish that?!

oh and my mom just informed me hard rock cafe called. that was fast. i have to call them tomorrow too.
