i got the coolest stamps for my xmas cards. andy warhol!!!!! yay.

so i had mentioned to kevin that i would consider going to work in lake tahoe, cuz i heard it’s super beautiful and cool and everything. he kept bugging me to talk to one of our shift managers cuz he came from tahoe. i had mentioned this to anthony, who talked to the shift manager in class yesterday. he said tahoe isn’t a good destination because dealers aren’t making much more than we are, and the cost of living is way higher. but he said california is a good place to go. so anthony and i were considering going out west in the spring to do some auditions and stuff. the shift mgr said they have no craps or roulette out there, so i wouldn’t have to feel pressured to learn craps before i leave the falls. they look highly upon pai gow, which is good. i wish there was somewhere here where i could learn pai gow tiles. apparently the game is harder than craps to learn, but once you know it, you can go anywhere and get a job. the shift is going to give us some people to talk to out there when we decide to head west.

i think if/when vegas happens i’m going to see if i can do some auditions just for shits and giggles, since i know there’s no way i’d get hired on the strip with less than a year experience. see if i can make some contacts, and get some tips on what i need to improve etc. make it a learning experience haha.
