a real post is in order but first…i’m looking online for a raincoat. (it’s supposed to rain thursday and ian and i are planning to go out…yes, any excuse for a new coat)…this has GOT to be the most hideous coat i have ever seen…and it’s 500$! but the fact that in the list of features, about the fabric etc, it says “savvy”…that gets points ha. children’s raincoats…big and tall mens raincoats…plus size raincoats..dog raincoats. how about raincoats for really skinny tall girls?!? grr maybe i’ll leave the house tomorrow to find a raincoat. why are these things so hideous and expensive?
alright. so my grandma fell in her house last tuesday, went to the hospital and is now in a nursing home. she’s not hurt though i guess. i haven’t really talked to my mom to know what’s going on. seems as if she’ll be staying there for a while/ever. i’m sure i’ll be forced to trip out to detroit soon. at least i can try to get away for a few hours and explore something (mcs *cough*). all i know is this BETTER not mess up future travel plans. i don’t care if that sounds bratty and mean. grandpa already ruined one vacation. no more.
aside from that nothing much is going on. as noted, explored some. i’m currently working on redoing all of institutional green to include site histories when i can. but i already don’t like the design i picked. on a good note though, i’ve been successfully using simpleviewer. i spent 3 days trying to find a good photo album script and they just don’t exist. now that i seem to be able to install simpleviewer and have it work, it’s good enough. it’s the rest of the site design i no longer like.
this week brings a haircut hopefully, a raincoat hopefully, getting sabres tickets wednesday hopefully (home games next wed/fri…may only go to wed game, depends on mine and phills “plan” ha), exploring thursday and then board meeting, and i’m thinking of tripping up to toronto to shop friday. but i don’t know yet. i still need boots. but it’s supposed to be crap weather, so i may wait. i’m working a black jack tournament tomorrow so i work 4-11 only, with mahjong to follow after…right gotta remember to go to work way early. probably won’t be shopping before hand…
