tonight was good. i finally feel like i’ve got a handle on things at work, and that i’m like, part of the crew. had to take charge a few times tonight, and it made me feel good.

so there’s this new host at work. SO CUTE!!!!! he’s really fantastic, really friendly, really nice. he has the nicest blue eyes. ended up going out to the bar with him after work, to the bar which is like, hard rock after hours lol. it was a really good time. i got kissed by a gay guy lol. he is so hot too, too bad he’s gay. talked to people from work that i haven’t really talked to before, and hung out with the new kid. i got hugs, and he bought me drinks, it was good 🙂

of course i come home at 3:30 and my mom is watching tv on the couch. she’s like, where have you been, i was about to call the police. well sorry that i didn’t know i was going to have a life tonight… 😛 whatever lol. i had fun. the new kid is going into the peace corps in the fall. i was like NO WAY, he’s like yah seriously. i’m like that’s so weird cuz i have an application for the peace corps sitting in my room. haha he was impressed lol.

ok yeah that’s not completely frightening and against everything america has been about since we became a country. i wonder if bush has ever heard of such a thing called the bill of rights….

and i think i didn’t stress enough in my last post how absolutely fabulous this new kid at work is lol. i am such a dork. lol. but yeah, this kid is just so great. he made a sorta random comment about how great of a movie fight club was. i freaked out lol. then when we were at the bar, he’s like, i think we should start a fight club haha. i can’t remember all the other things we talked about where we were totally in sync with eachother. but yeah….work-boy who?!?! 🙂

it is so friggen hot. i really think i’m going to melt. i don’t want to do a damn thing.

i decided to seek out AC afterall. i went to the bank cuz i had 3$ after last night (well last night only started with 5$ lol) and i needed gas. my mom had told me about a girl from high school who worked at my bank now and asked about me. i found that odd considering i was friends with her in 3rd grade, and then she didn’t speak to me all throughout high school. my mom had said she was married. she was there today when i went in. so i faked surprise, and happiness to see her. she asked me if i was done with school and i was like yeah, and you got married. she’s like yeah, i had a baby too. well her baby isn’t a baby, it looks about 3 years old from the picture she showed me. i’m like, sounds like you’re doing ok. she’s like, no i’m doing everything backwards. but i’m getting back on track. so i was like, oh, going back to school? she said yeah, she had 2 more years of teaching to finish, and she was going to do that. she was like, “i’m not in the gutter, but not far from it.” she seems REALLY unhappy haha. and she got fat. i swear, everyone i see from high school put on loads of weight. she was a TWIG in high school – smaller than me. and now she’s very chunky. not sure it’s all baby fat either….but anyway, i don’t know why she was telling me all that…not like i cared, not like we were friends catching up with eachother…

but speaking of people who got fat…my neighbor who is a year younger than me…saw her a few weeks ago, first time in over a year. we were like OMG she got fat. my mom found out that she gained 40 pounds!!!! that’s ALOT to gain in a short period of time, at least i think so.

so i went to the blvd mall. spent less than an hour, and i even went slow and looked in stores i wouldn’t usually go in. i must say modern fashion is hideous. since that took no time at all, i went to frisbees. no luck there either. so now i’m home, and i was gone for less than 2 hours. it’s still hot. getting cloudy though. severe weather watch for storms tonight. i’m tempted to go into work for food later, cuz yeah i’m a dork, and the new kid is working again tonight haha.

bill and leah are coming to visit sunday. sunday is danielle’s going away party too. so it works out pretty good.

 

OMG in my total happiness last night i forgot to blog the BIG DEAL that happened. and i’m talking BIG FRIGGEN DEAL! at preshift this kid walks in late with his food. he had been held up in canada for 2 hours, because they had closed the rainbow bridge…why, because some guy jumped off it!!! he actually SAW the body all twisted and dead on the rocks below (apparently the guy missed the water, dumbass), and authorities were trying to figure out how to recover the body. so after preshift i was telling the new kid about it, and he’s like woah. i’m like, i almost want to go look myself. he was like yeah so do i haha. we’re freaks. but yeah, gotta go find a news article about it now…..ok apparently this didn’t happen, because there is nothing in the buffalo news about it. i’m really not kidding.
