today’s theme: one step closer 🙂

i had a FANTASTIC day. let’s just say i got a really nice surprise this morning at work :). i got over the annoyance of getting called in to open REAL fast when i saw who i got to work with. which was a complete surprise because i thought he worked the night shift tonight. 🙂 so it was just great. so so great. i’m almost giddy haha. 🙂

oh and guess who else desides to actually talk to me today? yeah, the pot head. haha. i laughed. kurt and his friend joe stopped in for lunch. they were actually there when i opened the doors haha. so kurt got to see some of the people i’ve been talking about recently – work-boy, new kid, ultra hot server…haha. he passed his judgement – in a completely heterosexual way lol. so that was nice. i got to work with other cool people too. i learned fraternity secrets haha. but shhhhh. 🙂

so there’ll be no raining on my parade tonight. i’m not sure i’ll make it the next 3 days tho. i’m sore as hell from the coughing still and my matress is not helping that much. i have 3 closing shifts in a row, and then sunday off to recover…danielle’s party, leah and bill visiting. amy might come up to. and i might invite my own personal guest to the party but we’ll see…lol

oh yeah. the kid who saw the dead body on the rocks on sunday, from when the guy jumped off the bridge. he came in today. and i was like, yo did that really happen? did you REALLY see the body? he’s like yeah. so i told him that there was nothing in the news about it, which was weird, i wanted to make sure he wasn’t lying LOL. he said no, it really happened. it happens 3 or 4 times a year apparently.
